I love these.
they're all over the place in SD but kinda scattered around in LA. I'd say 2 out of 3 taco joints won't have em. Same with california burrito.
Anyways, any good goto spots for you?

Tacos Sinoloa has some solid ones. A couple of El Burrito Jrs will make them for you too. |

I can't say for certain but I'm sure "roberto's" is basically a knock-off of Alberto's. There are tons of such faux Alberto's in the OC ... in fact, Albertaco's is one of them. But, ironically, they're better than the original Alberto's and, in fact, used to be an Alberto's.
I haven't a clue but I think the owner of Albertaco's might have been related or in business with the OG Alberto's family.
Man, this is confusing.
But, yeah ... I'd be willing to wager Roberto's is but another. |

There are a few Roberto's down here in SD. The one by my house has some of the best Mexican food I've had. |

If you're ever down in SD, there's a bunch. My personal favorites are at Rudy's Taco Shop and Calientes. |
