Welcome Russell my man!!!!! So happy with this!!! We dodged Okafor which would've been a disaster and we got a great player in Russell. He will be a great contributor, will always play at near all star level, he will be a glue guy and a winner!!!

| I guess that means the Lakers aren't that high on Jordan Clarkson. Russell and Clarkson are too similar, both combo guards who need the ball in their hands. I don't see them coexisting on the Lakers. |

I like the pick of Russell. Its gutsy, but its a guards league. You need guys with the ball in their hands.
If Russell can have the same impact as a Damian Lillard, then its a great pick.
If he ends up being Michael Carter Williams, it will suck. |
