24 points (8-12 and 6-8 from 3pt) 6 assists 0 turnovers and +25 team high.
Don’t forget, DLO basically saved AD from getting an ejection too. Had he not stepped in and pushed Bane out of AD’s face and bear-hugged AD away, it could’ve gotten even uglier. _________________ The butter is getting hard.
Finally Dlo was able caught fire from 3 pt land. It was long due.
Like I have been saying, when Lebron helps out on playmaking early and have Dlo on the receiving end of the pass, he has better chance to knock it down from 3. It didn't hurt when his counterpart of opposing team's guard is a non-scoring threat. It saves just that much legs for Dlo to fire away with ease.
This game was perfect set up for our team to gain momentum and confidence from 3 pt land we desperately needed.
The staggering of DLO/AR, the emergence of Cam Reddish as a potential defensive wing stopper, plus on paper, the addition of Gabe gives the Lakers much more of a hedge against DLO potentially faltering again in the playoffs.
Last year we had few alternatives against the Nuggets as players like Beasley/Brown were banished from the rotation at that point.
I think there's a strong possibility he finishes the year out with the Lakers. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
DLO just may be the best floor general in the league. I feel more confident with the ball in his hands than in brons at times _________________ He's my GOAT
As good as Dlo has been this season,
it's still understandable proposition to trade him for an upgrade, considering
his disappointing playoff run throughout his career(not just last denver series).
But if and when Dlo is traded, it should be for 1) an absolute upgrade in talent
and 2) a plan to replace playmaking skill on the team due to his absence.
Right now Dlo is one and only full time playmaker(which isn't ideal role for him against pressuring defense anyways).
I don't care if it's for DD straight up for Dlo(i know the salary doesn't match)
we won't be better without replacing a playmaker.

The DLO fixation Lakers fans have is funny.
Good game, average game, bad game.
Doesn't matter. The guy generates conversation.
He's kind of a Rorschach test for most people.
I'm happy he's been playing well for us after that disappointing Denver series. He's obviously putting in the work. I hope he keeps it up the rest of the season. That way. Whether you love him or hate him. Want to keep him or trade him. He helps us get closer to another chip. _________________ "knew I was fly when I was just a caterpillar."

This is fair.....I like watching D'Lo highlights more than any other current Laker player as there is something about his smooth game that is really visually appealing to me. That being said, there is a lingering doubt in my mind if he really has what it takes to be a major force for a championship team.
Hes averaging 19/7 I'd keep him and try to upgrade the team using other players: Rui, Vincent, Hayes, TAP, Max, etc. Siakam would be nice to have. _________________

But if you were the Raptors, would you really trade Siakam for even all of them? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Would have to add draft capital…say Rui + FRP and salary filler?
The point I think is to keep Dlo and upgrade somewhere else, whether it’s Siakim or whoever. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I didn’t see that this off season.”
Dlo is the floor general. He is playing really well this year. Don’t see any reason we want to trade him for a SG, especially the Lakers are playing 1+4. The other 2 players alongside AD and LBJ suppose are than 3D rather scorers.
