hearing that Trump campaign senior officials are calling candidates and campaigns raising money off Trump indictment, and telling them to stop. The Trump campaign is viewing it as a scam/ripoff and pushing to head it off.
Well, I'll give them this much, if anyone knows what scams and ripoffs are all about, it's Trump and his people. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Former President Donald Trump reacted to his indictment in Manhattan on Truth Social, misspelling the word "indictment." In a post on the social media platform, Trump wrote, "These Thugs And Radical Left Monsters Have Just INDICATED The 45th President Of The United States Of America, And The Leading Republican Candidate, By Far, For The 2024 Nomination For President."
Trump's misspelling of the word "indicted" quickly went viral on social media, with many people mocking the former president. The indictment is the latest development in a long-running investigation into Trump's business dealings. The investigation is being led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

This was an enjoyable, long listen.
I'll definitely take from what Sam said when discussing fiscal policy with Right-leaning people. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

I always thought if Trump ever got sent to jail (big if — seems like it probably won't happen) he would be sent to some Club Fed in the Catskills instead of a real jail/prison like Rikers, Attica or Sing Sing.

The GOP is evil, for the most part, really evil.
How these low life's support Trump is crazy.
Watching them all call this a democratic targeted indictment is crazy too. Trump is a lifetime criminal....everyone knows that....he is finally getting what has been due to him for decades....
Watching them all squirm makes me sick. They are all evil.
Evil people, trying to spin this...
Keep bringing up Hilary or Bill or whoever....
This is not about them....
It's about your evil leader, Donny.
What a horrible time in history...how this guy ever became president, I will never understand....and I hope and pray that history is horrible to him and to all the ones that supported him....
I don't think he would've won with just the votes from dumb GOP voters in 2016. He won because of liberals who wanted to "send a message" like the POS Susan Sarandon. You can't change backward conservatives but the holier than thou liberals are just as responsible for the rise of Trumpism.
What's really puzzling is that some people who first supported Bernie Sanders then voted for Trump. How the F does that even make sense?
Of course, it was (as usual) the swing voters and independents who swung the 2016 election in favor of that orange-haired orangutan.
The GOP is so much better at marketing and promoting than our side is, and that may be even more frustrating than anything.

It starts to make a little bit of sense when you think of the political spectrum as a circle instead of a line with true moderates at the top, liberals on the left edge and conservatives on the right. When you swing past either of those, you move closer to the bottom of the circle. When someone resides at the bottom of that circle, it doesn't take much to radically shift position, especially when they are motivated more by the extremism rather than actual ideals. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Rikers is scheduled to be closed. It wouldn't make sense to send him there IF he's convicted.

De Blasio and Johnson agreed to close the jail complex by 2026 and open four new jails at a total cost of $8.7 billion. A week later, the City Council approved the deal. Gothamist acquired planning documents that showed delays would stretch the closing of Rikers Island well into 2027.Mar 14, 2023

(Hear Stormy Daniels' first comments since Trump indictment)

In an interview with the British newspaper "The Times," adult film actress Stormy Daniels made her first public comments about the indictment of former President Donald Trump. CNN's Kyung Lah reports on Daniels' response and her role in the case.
A prominent qanon account is claiming that Huggies diapers use pedofile symbols. Rayyvana, Cenk Uygur, and Jackson White discuss on The Young Turks.
"QAnon has a new obsession: Huggies diapers.
Over the last week, the cult’s latest baseless conspiracy theory—that Huggies diapers feature secret symbols linked to pedophilia—went viral after a QAnon influencer on Twitter, recently reinstated on the platform by Elon Musk, tweeted out the wild claims.
The conspiracy theory racked up millions of views, going viral so quickly that the diaper company was forced to publicly denounce it. But despite this denial—or maybe because of it—the conspiracy continues to percolate on social media sites like Telegram, Reddit, and Truth Social."
WaPo: Investigators now suspect, based on witness statements, security footage, and other evidence, that boxes including classified material were moved from a Mar-a-Lago storage area after the subpoena was served, and that Trump personally examined at least some of those boxes.
Breaking WaPo: Justice Department and FBI investigators have amassed fresh evidence pointing to possible obstruction by Trump in the classified documents investigation.
Investigators "increasingly suspect Trump went through boxes after [the] subpoena."
The wayfare conspiracy theory was wild, shipping furniture with little kids in it, based on five-six figure prices and serial codes. I don’t understand the diaper stuff. Are they shipping little kids in diaper boxes? Are diapers listed $50,000-$150,000 a box? What is the conspiracy?
Fox News was up to its regular demagoguing of anyone that doesn't like Trump. Tucker Carlson was simultaneously terrifying and yet you can tell his heart just isn't in it anymore. He seemed to give an exasperated defense of Trump while looping in every conservative boogieman into his wild conspiracy theory.
