(LeBron +4 while on the floor; the rest of the team, when he was off, -14)
Nah, even when he wasn't in the game i'd see players look at him on the bench and clearly out of nowhere just be out of sync from that point on. I wish they'd just tell him to go hide in the tunnel when he wasn't in the game.
I don't think even that would be enough. The players would have gotten out of sync just from feeling Outspoken's dislike of Lebron's existence projected into the atmosphere. You would have to fit all of them with tin foil hats, and I think that goes against NBA uniform guidelines.
It was actually a GOOD thing for him to come back now, get that rust out and have the rotations figured out. I'd rather that now as opposed to 2 games left in the season in the middle of a dogfight.
Agreed.
Also I don’t understand people saying he ruined the rhythm. Ruined the rhythm of what? A perennial 6-7-8 seed in the WCF? Idgaf. He obviously makes us better - bring him/rush him back I don’t care because even when firing on all cylinders without Bron we are a bottom dweller WCF team. In fact even with Bron we were at the bottom so I really don’t care to ruin “that rhythm”. Might as well try and improve. Also what risk is there really? He gets hurt again? He’s not a 25 year old we are building around. This is the victory lap if he goes down again it doesn’t matter.
He stepped up last night. The previous game he wasnt up to hos standard though, lets admit it. But if he plays like this game consistently and we stay healthy, we are gonna be a threat in the playoffs _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

He looked really fluid and dominant. Him pushing pace was a huge factor in this game. His outlets are pretty awesome and led to some good pressure on their defense and good looks for us.
I thought his first game back his passing was a little off, but this time his passing was much better. Him playing in the post was a difference maker, he was able to exploit some mismatches there. Even got single covered in the post a few times which is always good to see, and a good sign about the quality of the players around him
despite Bron's pride, i don't think he'd mind slipping to that "elder Timmy role" (Duncan) in the coming years. especially if he wants to play at least one season with one of his sons.

gotta pace himself.
Lebron is still putting up 29-9-7. His issue has been health, not an inability to play at a high level when he can play. So I don't see him as wanting to significantly change or reduce his role anytime soon.
Bronny is eligible for the NBA draft in 2024. We'll see if he's ready for the NBA at that point, how Lebron is playing, and what happens. There are a lot of variables.
He did well but he still wasn’t jumping much, there were a few scenarios on defense in particular I saw times where he normally would have tossed somebody or challenged shots and he stayed grounded. I think it’s smart if he is still at risk of more serious injury to play an old man style like that.
Especially on offense stick to the post up area and he will be great just on the attention he draws alone, the bulls were sending like 4 guys at him.
Some of the on/off values with LeBron have been about how he impacts rotations and roles of other players as much as how much he himself is contributing. He doesn't get asked to fit in, others do. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

75% lebron > no lebron
He is still dominant in the post, and still devastating in transition just because of how strong he is
If we win a ship this year, I think the Lebron we know will be done and he will just be coasting till he gets to play with his son
Oh please, for a person who despeerately wants to be known as "better than MJ", the idea that he'd settle for having fewer rings when there's even a sliver of a chance of catching him is a thought that's not even worth entertaining.

I don't know if "complacent" is the right word. For a long time, Lebron has been picking his spots. There have been some interesting graphics of how much Lebron moves around the court compared to other people. Depending on your POV, this can mean (A) "he isn't trying as hard as he should" or (B) "he's a super-smart player who knows how to strategically conserve energy during the game itself so he can turn it on when needed."
