Im sure Jeanie has a few circus acts and spectacles booked for when he reaches that milestone.

I don’t recall her doing one when he reached 40k points.

That’s pathetic on his part not to play. (Bronny)

Sure, but I’d like to see some competitive edge to show that he belongs. I wanna see some confidence

I don’t think he had a good answer either way. He plays and people kill him for taking someone’s spot in the showcase. He doesn’t play and he gets killed for not being competitive.

I, still, am amazed at LeBron.

I know it's getting old to say it, but ... at 40?

At 40 (the numbers for the year considered to be at 40--which is actually the whole year--according to BBR),

scoring 23.7 while shooting 51/39%, while the actual numbers at 40 are
scoring 24.2 while shooting 54/48%. Only Michael (in the history of the game) is close
scoring 22.4 while shooting 46/22% (and less RPG and way less APG)

His per 36 totals for points/assists/rebounds per game EXCEED his career average 41.7 to 39.8

.......................................................................................................and Michael's at 39.1

Should have sat him tonight... Pretty much threw the game away in the 3rd with 5 turnovers in that quarter alone.

He was horsing around from the start. What a pitiful performance.

I think LeBron was preoccupied with his son struggling out there.

I hate Jeanie for allowing this bullsh*t nepotism to affect actual games.

LeBron out there stat padding in the 4th was ugly work.

Yeah, that fourth quarter was the problem, you know, the only quarter they outscored Phily. And that horrible LeBron during the fourth, you know, with a +4 during his 15 minutes.

The game was over after the 3rd. It was no reason for a 40 year old to be out there on back end of a road back to back other than to stat pad.

That’s the definition of stat padding

That’s gotta be Lebron call. I don’t think JJ is stupid enough to wear him out when the game is basically over.

After a performance like in the 3rd, LeBron should have been sat the rest of the game at his 16 points and not let back into the game. Since stats mean so much to him that 20 point game streak ending due to his own selfish play in the 3rd would have sent a message.

It's so obvious he plays for stats. Happened more last year.

What 20pts game streak? He has scored under 20pts twice this month already.

Thanks for that. Now I know.

Now that we know the official definition, let's talk about what appears to be this huge problem that is being discussed. It is obvious some just don't like LeBron and will nit pick him until death. I get it, that is what some fans like to do.

But the issue is, what is the harm? It was ugly? Huh?

I can see how some want to make the automatic leap that because he went back in, he only went in to add more numbers. Maybe. Or maybe he is just a competitor, he was loose and felt good, and wanted to play, the fans want to see HIM, or some combination. I doubt there are many players that don't care about their stats. Regardless, what is the harm of 15 more minutes of his ~70,000? Yes, he could have gotten hurt, but that is the case with every minute played. Besides, there wasn't a game the next day.

I will take my leap now, and propose that LeBron and Coach know better how he is feeling, and what is best for the team.

Or maybe it was stat padding. No one tells lebron when he plays. JJ like bscott is here to coach everyone else around lebron.

Yes, maybe, as I said. Please read more carefully. But thanks for this insight as to the relationship. Perhaps you could share JJ's number so that I can chat with him myself and learn even more.
