The only new thing in his reporting is Luka telling Bron to take his time on returning. Wants him back fully healthy for a postseason push. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant
I couldn't get on Twitter earlier today but it's working fine right now and I was able to get this tweet?
Basically about LeBron they're just saying how he and the staff want to "rest" the injury first before even doing a full evaluation and then "figure out a pathway back" to LeBron being on the court. The anchorwoman asked about what the game plan is for Brooklyn in the meantime, and Dave was talking about how they're missing a lotta folks rn so it's more complicated than just missing LeBron. He then went on to say that apparently Luka was saying to LeBron to take your time and come back when you're 100% and that Luka was saying it's not just about him but it'll take everybody to pick up the pieces and keep this going while Bron is out.

This has been TDRock reporting for LG news
so this might took longer than 2 weeks?
If you read between the lines, it sounds like the Lakers are perfectly fine letting LeBron rest as much as possible this doesn’t reflect that the injury is serious, he can comeback way sooner then the projected time line but they want him as fresh as possible for what could be LeBron’s last chance to capture another championship
It's clearly a grade 1 injury. The main thing they'd be worried about is him coming back and aggravating it. So they probably sit him out at least 2 weeks as a precaution and then manage his games played when he returns.
I would be surprised with the NBA all NBA teams on the line if Lebron misses enough games to miss out on all NBA. He will play at least 7 more games. He's at 58.
LeBron's missed every March since he's been a Laker. Anybody notice that every March something happens that keeps him out for a few weeks? _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

The number one point is to preserve his health for the playoffs and beyond, obviously.
The number two point should be to avoid the play in.
And yes, I'm sure the number three point is to get to 65 games. _________________ Hey Doge, ever hear of “measure twice, cut once?” It is not cut first and measure later.

Lakers' LeBron James has returned to Los Angeles, per medical recommendation, as he continues to progress well from a groin strain with the team finishing road trip Thursday in Milwaukee and Friday in Denver, league sources tell ESPN.
Here Bron, take my groin. 😶 _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

It sounds like hes ahead of schedule, let him rest as much as possible no need to bring him back to soon

Yes... was going to mention that if they rush him back, he could reaggravate it and turn it into a grade 2 tear, which would obviously take him out for the season. The optimal move would be to wait it out and let him take as long as he needs to recovery, so as long as it's before the playoffs. Last week of March should be an optimistic return date. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Can't stand SAS, but LeBron could've handled this a million different ways and chose a very public, performative option. If I didn't like LeBron, I wouldn't have much sympathy.
SAS running to the Hannity show and airing this out across millions of anti-LeBron partisans is pretty wild. What a shameless grifter.
Sources tell me that LeBron James’ progress is going well with that left groin strain that he suffered on Saturday in Boston. J.J. Redick termed him as ‘day-to-day’ moving forward. Sources tell myself and Shams Charania that he’s expected to miss anywhere from at least a week to two weeks. So far, we’re only at about half a week, so we’re still not necessarily in the day-to-day range.

He's what you call a professional fence-sitter. He'll play to whatever position is "popular" or "winning" at the moment but never have any convictions or principles of his own. He's a sellout in every sense of the word and chases the views. However, I will give him credit for branching out into podcasting and finding ways to remain in the algorithm. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

They all are.
When you go into First Take or before every segment the Directors tell you what side of the debate you're going to be on, and you just spew whatever rhetoric, bullet points or talking points to be opposed to the other, regardless on if you really think that or not. It's all staged, and 90% of the opinions they spew aren't what they really think. It's basically reality TV for Sports.

Just say it...
Steroid re-up?
Never taken one in his life, but that is funny how people think that about him. At 40, he still plays at an extremely high level. What some don't see is that he spends over a million on his health every year and is a billionaire so he can afford to do so. Father time is a little behind schedule with Lebron. Same goes for Tom Brady, spent a fortune on his health and diet and look at how that turned out?
