Oh my god, what a horrible mess. I kept watching to see if it would ever circle back around from awful to so awful it's good, but it just stayed awful and stupid.
It's a perfect example of a movie that never really knew what it wanted to be. It's neither a good heist movie, buddy movie, silly comedy or anything else. It's just a disjointed, illogical mess. Definitely had the feel of an overly ambitious script that just got chipped away at until it barely tracked and made little sense. |
agree. 2 buddies with time to kill wanted to make a movie.I really like Affleck and am OK with damon but is was blah. I did like the therapist. She was great in night agent. super attractive IMHO. _________________ Kobe.

This is late, but I saw Twisters at home, having missed the big screen show times.
Spoiler Alert: I didn't realize that tornadoes could be boring. |

Train to Busan and WWZ… it’s like watching a class assignment done by 2 different students, both excellent. Wouldn’t mind getting a sequel of WWZ _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

Watched Badlands today. Kevin Hart was out of his element. Jamie Lee Curtis has aged well. I haven't seen Gina Gershon since Killer Joe. It was OK. I give it 7.
Cast Badlands Click Haley Bennet to reveal full cast. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Watchers- Both my wife and i didnt know if we liked it or not. Shamalamadingdong is certainly creative in his concepts- so at worst its interesting. It wouldn't shock me if someone loved it or hated it. _________________ Kobe.

THE UNDERDOGGS It's supposed to be for kids but the language is not suitable for kids. It's a parody of Rebound, a movie that starred Martin Lawrence. I like the movie but I wouldn't recommend it for kids. It's rated R for language, provides a disclaimer explicitly about language and it stars Snoop Dogg. It's on Prime. It starts slow but gains momentum. It made me chuckle more than once. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I paid real dollars to watch Beetlejuice 2, knowing it would be a disgrace: No Geena Davis, no Jeffrey Jones (an excellent actor who turned out to be into little boys), no real effort from Tim Burton. Everything you'd expect from something that they tried to market to zoomers using Jenna Ortega, who sucked, btw. I heard my niece raving about her. Real lack of standards, that generation. Keaton did the most lethargic Beetlejuice/Michael Keaton impersonation I've ever seen. Decent performance by Catherine O'Hara. Will always treasure her.
I lost track of when the Band of Brothers Spielberg/Hanks successor would hit HBO. Anticipation for the concept was high, years passed and pans demicked, and it didn't even go to HBO. It went to AppleTV, so I signed up. Made it through episode 1, somehow. All production values bottomed out! wtf? How could a Hanks/Spielberg WWII thing be this bad? I don't know if I want to force myself through the rest of the series. One of the recommended things on the app was this WWII movie called Greyhound, starring Hanks. Never heard of it, can't believe I never saw a promo for it. Now THAT's a war piece worth the time! Leans heavily on CGI but it pulls it off. It has replay value, too. Pleasantly surprised. Hanks has still got it. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

I watched Apple's Wolfs.
Its a movie with Clooney and Pitt being "fixers".
