7. Jusuf Nurkić - Los Angeles Lakers
Original 7th Pick: Julius Randle
Nurkić would be a boon for the Lakers at this spot. We've already discussed why Randle hasn't quite worked out for the Lakers. On the other hand, Nurkić offers Los Angeles something they've not had in their starting lineup since Kobe Bryant: A stabilizer. Nurkić is the type of player the Lakers can dump the ball down into on the block with the thought that good things will happen. He's adept around the rim with a bevy of crafty moves.

Nurkić is also an excellent passer out of the post -- something which would (in theory) help the guards find open looks. Brook Lopez is there currently in LA, though that's nothing more than stop-gap. Nurkić would unequivocally be the Lakers' starting center for the next five-to-seven seasons.
