Congrats Mitch. I wish you the best of luck in your new position.

Happy for Mitch.

Feel like he's had to follow through on other people's visions throughout his management career. Sometimes for better and sometimes for worse.

But seems like he's running the show, no question, in Charlotte.

Congratulations Mitch! Please do the Lakers one solid, by acquiring Deng from us for more palatable contracts. Then we'll be all square.

That should be the first call Mitch gets. i'm sure there a million stories about redemption Pelinka could tell Kupchak before he asks " so we have deng under contact for two more years. you seem to think he's worth 18 m..."

Do it Mitch.
Rob'em Pelinka.

Either that or trading Dwight to a team even more obscure and irrelevant than the Hornets, if one even exists.

FWIW, I never saw much evidence that Howard and Mitch had a personal beef. Howard chose to leave and do his thing, and if anything had more issue with the fans and media in LA than anyone with the team, aside from MDA perhaps. Mitch wanted to re-sign him.

So Dwight wanted to be the face of a franchise in a major market and get endorsement deals and TV/movie deals and stuff? Trade him to the Clippers and watch him take that sorry franchise down with him. He can be Deandre Jordan's Tyson Chandler.
