1) The Hat
2) Johnny’s in Culver city
3) Katz in NYC
4) L’il Pickle (Costa Mesa)
5) Tommy Pastrami (Santa Ana and Phoenix)


i hated Landers

There used to be a Jerry’s Deli here by the South Coast Plaza here in OC - their Pastrami is excellent as well ... similar to Katz in NYC...

if you’re still in OC there’s a Hat in Lake Forest right off the 405

Haven't been to a pastrami stand for some time. Back in the day Johnnies Pastrami on Adams Blvd in Los Angeles was the best in town. I don't know if it's still there. I think that was the original Johnnies.
