Nice choke job by the Nets. Thunder were down by 18 to start the 4th qtr.

Houston at Utah tonight. Who are we rooting for? If Utah wins they will both have 13 losses.

Tough call. Both could easily string of bunch of wins. Utah with a easier schedule coming up and with the addition of Korver. Rockets because they have Harden and CP3. I guess I prefer the loss that would be more demoralizing for a team. I suppose that will be the Jazz

The western conference is starting to look really winnable this year.

Potential playoff matchups:

Golden State: Relies a lot on outside shooting and when teams try to live or die on threes against the Lakers, they die. Plus they love to party in LA.

Oklahoma City: Very weak shooting

Portland: Decent shooting team but they don't shoot well against this team and are losing the season series

Denver: HCA will be the key in this series

Dallas: Same writeup as Portland

Houston: Same writeup as Golden State

Utah: Tough on defense but they just won't be able to outscore the Lakers.

San Antonio: Yeah they're 1-3 against them but I think they'd beat them in a series. All of those games could have been wins.

Memphis: The ideal first round matchup. They completely own these guys.

Clippers: The Clippers look better this year but the Lakers will have seven home games in that series.

I'm not quite as confident as you are but I still do like our chances overall. It will really depend, in a lot of these matchups, on HCA. To me, GSW, Denver, Portland, OKC, and Utah worry me, in that order, if they have HCA. I also think that we lose against GSW even if we have HCA. Honestly though, I think that we could beat any other team in a 7 game set regardless of HCA. If Houston turns things around my opinion on them could change, I guess would be my other thought.

I agree, as things currently stand I take the Lakers confidently against any team other then GSW. I keep seeing constantly every single sports personality talk about how the lakers have no chance at a championship then they mention the Clippers, Nuggets, OKC etc. I honestly don't get that at all.

I think we even have a chance against GS though but it would obviously be a huge upset. With Curry ready to go down at any moment with his glass ankles/ legs and possible drama in the locker room along with the role players getting older there is def. much more of a question mark around them then there ever has been.

Personally I was assuming each team would be healthy. Of course, if GSW is banged up and we're fully healthy, I could see us beating them.

Gotta hand it to PG, that was a helluva shot to give OKC the win in double-overtime.

Wow, Steph. LMAO He missed a wide open dunk that could've cut the Rockets' lead to 2 in the final seconds in the game.
