I was probably the only 10 folk in this world that believed that Dallas had a shot at making it into the playoffs as a lower playoff seed, they are now tied with Houston at 9-9 a piece, if Dirk comes back they can make some noise.

Carlisle was, is, and will always be a great coach.

His contract runs out soon right? Assuming we don’t win it all this year, Rick Carlisle is the perfect coach to finish the final piece of the puzzle to complete the team. Going from an incompetent coach to one of the best coaches would put us over everyone.

But that’s a pipe dream.

All of you complaining about struggling vs the Cavs, they beat Houston and Philadelphia.

Can we steal their coaches

We want:
Lakers win (duh)
Knicks win
Jazz win
.....either one I guess? I guess I have to go with Blazers just because (bleep) the Clippers.

...but I hate the Blazers too. (bleep).

Final recap:
Rockets lost
Pelicans lost
Thunder lost
Spurs lost
Kings lost

Bonus: Mavs beat the Celtics. Sure it’s a western team win, but it’s a low one and Celtics losing is always good.

Amazing night! Couldn’t ask for any better except the GS loss instead of Kings. But Kings losing was good for us too so I’ll take it.

Really good night in the Lakers favor.

Channing Frye
@Channing_Frye

The hardest parts of the nba are chemistry and figuring out how tough it is to win on a nightly basis. Let’s build on these things

We took their best player but that doesn’t seem to be holding them back.

It’s stacked. Any team that’s digging a hole by All star break will probably miss the playoff. Teams will not survive Any major injury to a key player. Only the Warriors will have that luxury.

Well...this loss hurts. Thank you Luke and Lebron for that unnecessary step back 3 brick.

We have to root for the Blazers to beat the Clippers tonight. They will both have 7 losses.

Current top 8 teams: LAC, MEM, GSW, DEN, POR, OKC, LAL, SAC
It's murderers row. And I'm glad Butler is back East. Cause Minny would've been another problem.

I have Houston penciled in for Denver's current playoff spot. And San Antonio penciled in for the Kings.
Memphis is going nowhere. They're a playoff team every year Conley and Gasol are healthy. And Utah looks broken beyond repair.
Wolves are back where they were before Butler showed up there. The outside looking in.

Not too concerned with our standing. Honestly, all we should expect for this year is a playoff spot. Just making it in the current climate and roster would be a huge accomplishment. We also don't make a panic firing of Luke as long as we secure a playoff spot. As much as I am not a fan of Luke, firing him and hiring someone like Lue and Jackson would have almost no upside imo. Of course Luke is going to have to do a lot just to keep his job by the end of this year.

Just regroup, win the games you should win by who cares how much and get better as the season comes a long. I think Rondo will be the shot in the arm we need for our bench. Hart also doesnt look right. May need a few games to fully recover. We could use a minor move for another shooter or Power Forward/Small Ball Center

The Kings played a tough game at Golden State last night. I don't have a lot of faith they will beat Utah tonight

Hopefully Jazz and Blazers make up for this (bleep) night. I'm starting to think the Grizzlies will be the team to drop out of the playoffs. They are starting to cool off and are a Conley or Gasol injury from tanking again. Clippers I'm not so confident on. Which sucks because we will be hearing it from all the Clippers stans this year. Plus their pick is not as heavily protected they may be incentive to tank at some point. I'm expecting Sac to fall out tho I don't mind them in the playoffs as long as they don't take a spot from us in the end.
