The Bear Season 3 drops tomorrow night. I'm gonna be exhausted Thursday at work after an all night binge.

Time to sign up for Hulu again.

It's literally the only thing I watched on Hulu in the last two years and ended up getting rid of it when I finished season 2.

I wish I could enjoy the show like you guys. I've tried several times but never got beyond episode two: The intense and frantic nature of the interactions just ramped my anxiety enough to find it to be too much.

It’s for the best then. High intensity is the key characteristic of the show.

I like it cause the main character has a Kobe-like mentality.
Watching actually motivates me to go HAM at work.

Watched the first 3 episodes of Presumed Innocent starring Jake Gylenhall. Very good so far. On Apple TV.

Just saw the first episode. Excellent.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I never saw the movie with Harrison Ford, or maybe I did but forgot all about it.

Glad you guys are enjoying it. My wife was the Line Producer for it. Sounds like there's going to be a second season with a new storyline.

Finished season 3 of The Bear.

The creator Christopher Storer planned for it to be a 3 season arc. But due to the shows popularity. FX pushed him to make it 4.

And it shows up in this season. It's alot of set up for next season.

I like the show immensely. Yeah, Guy Ritchie's stick might be a bit stale, but I'm a sucker for it. The music is also fabulous.

Yup, definitely a weaker season but I still enjoyed it. Some very good episodes balanced out by a few duds. Looking forward to s4. Little disappointed after the opening episode which I thought was incredible.

Should I watch the movie first?

Finished The Gentlemen a few weeks ago. It's a bit silly but highly entertaining.

I don't think it really matters. The premise is the same, but only in its broad strokes. So you won't spoil anything either way.

Doesn’t matter. Movie is far superior IMO though.

I'm trying to catch up on House of the Dragon season 1, as I am hearing good things about season 2. So sad to see Milly Alcock get recasted after the flash forward. Many of the male actors kept their role. Milly was such a gem in those episodes she starred in.

Excellent! I wont be able to get antsy and spoil the ending by googling it like I did after episode 3 or 4.

I really enjoyed The Night Of. That seemed somewhat similar as well.

Thanks. That first season was astronomically hard and was almost a bust for reasons I won’t go into here. But ultimately, thanks to a core group of people including my wife (who is an insanely great producer, and I don’t say that as a gloating husband, there are a bunch of people in the industry who say the same) something really good was made.

That said, David E Kelley et al now have a really high bar to meet for season 2. 😀
