It takes ALOT for me to watch a show with subtitles.

I'm in season 2 of 5 for The Bureau.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4063800/

It's worth reading the subtitles. Top notch television. Especially if you like spy/espionage stuff.

If anyone wants a link to watch or download. Message me.

Any good Hong Kong Kung fu series? Preferably one with good English dubbing?

Lioness is a great series. Covert operations are real. These are some hard ladies.

Thanks for the heads-up gov. 👍🏾

Madness on Netflix is pretty good. A little messy in spots but a solid watch.

Google Hong Kong Kung Fu Movies. It lists a lot of movies. Shang'-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is action start to finish. The fight scenes are dance beautiful. You may find 2 editions. One has sub-titles, one doesn't

Drama

Yellowstone - second part of season 5 was okay. I thought without Kevin Costner it wasn't going to be good but it still works. I guess since his role was becoming less as seasons went on I was getting used to it.

Tulsan King - season 2 was really good. I can't wait til season 3 comes out.

Sitcom

Neighborhood-Recently started watching this one. Starring Cedric the Entertainer. It's really funny and underrated show. Not a new show. First episode came out in 2018. You can see it for free on Roku.

They’ve really upped their game the second season. I enjoyed s1 but s2 is on another level.

I've been watching it since its inception. I just realized it's been on for 6 seasons. Hank Greenspan (Grover) has grown up before our eyes. Beth Behrs (Gemma) has put on a pound or 2.

Is anyone watching The Agency? If so, what's it about and is it worth a peek?

The most recent 2 episodes of Yellowstone were quite disappointing. Hoping for a finale fitting of this great show.

Also, Sheridan is getting YUGE. I think the steroids may be going to his brain.

*all* of Taylor Sheridan's post-Sicario work (bleep) blows. I watched Yellowstone S1-2. That was a genuinely fun watch, with some lapses of weak engagement, especially where it turns into cowboy/cattle industry autofellatio. The subsequent seasons are a cheap fantasy novela for flyover white trash. Uncharacteristic behavior, awful dialogue, plot holes, bad writing. Popped on Lioness which was ok for a few episodes, didn't know it was a Sheridan show. Noticed some of the same actors from Wind River and Yellowstone, along with a peculiar camera movement on a tight indoor scene, and then more MAGA coded circle jerking. Uh oh. "Alexa, who wrote the show Lioness?" "From screener dot com: Lioness, the hit Paramount plus series from creator Tayl--" "ALEXA STOP"

The first 2 seasons of Yellowstone was excellent. I was hooked. I binged watched both seasons 3 times. It declined a lot after. You start to hear about problems between Sheridan and Costner and also with Hauser. The 2 characters that made the show. Not sure if it because of the problems but you start to see less focus on those 2 characters in the later seasons.

Tulsa King just ended its second season. So far no drama between the main cast and Sheridan so I expect season 3 to be good. I hope.

I loved Yellowstone 1-3. Didn’t bother watching after that.

Lioness season 1 was OK, 2 was significantly better. Enjoyed both regardless.

Really enjoying Tulsa King.

Landman is solid but it’s half good half awful with the weird storylines about the ex wife and daughter. Lot of weird (bleep) going on in that show and I can see it all going sideways if they stray away from the main theme of the show.

Really enjoyed Mayor of Kingstown s1 and 2 as well. 3 I haven’t watched.

Anyways the quality is somewhat slipping but with the amount of mainstream crap out there on streaming services, Sheridan’s work stands out in a good way IMO.

I've had some time off from working and have done some binging.
The Bureau - 9/10
The Day of the Jackal - 8/10
Lioness S2 - 7.5/10
Say Nothing- 8.5/10.

I forgot about Lincoln Lawyer. I had to start from scratch. I'm up to S2E3. This is the house used in the series. You can use your cursor to cruise the street and parts of the neighborhood. It's Baldwin Hills Los Angeles Ca.

I finished LL today. It's a great series. The finale was set up for season 4. Tentatively the preview is sometime in 2024 25. I'll be on the lookout.

It most certainly is. Great ensemble cast with clever stories. It's likely, at least off the top of my head, the best series going on Netflix, and right up there with any series anywhere.

The house had a great view but not as eye-pleasing as the view from the house used in Boach

Glad you enjoyed Jodeke. I love LL myself. It’s an easy watch but has substance. A hard line to maintain. Also anything “LA” sign me up. Maybe because I don’t live there anymore but seeing it on TV makes me happy.
