It's been so long! Can't wait. When the first season aired, I was still in my 30s.
Finished Season 2 of Squid Game in one sitting with the girlfriend a few nights ago. We kept saying, one more episode, one more episode, and we finished it all. I don't know why, but I liked it even more than the first season. |
I need to start that. I feel guilty watching the English dub, but it’s too much to do 10 episodes of subtitles.
Also, in connection with Bibigo, the Lakers jersey sponsor, they do a Squid Games, "red light, green light" contest during a timeout. They say you have to go back to the starting line if you move on red, but they must be under a short time constraint because these people were moving and they let them keep going. The crowd was a little rowdy last night and people were yelling, somebody should be getting dropped right now. |

I forgot about The Day Of The Jackal. I've watched 3 episodes. I'll finish the series sometime today _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Not really, it’s going into almost like everybody who can claim the throne ‘wants’ to take it which makes it interesting. Actually the bastard sons of the sea snake (the black Targaryean) who never got acknowledged by his dad are very likable characters _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. It starts better than it finishes imo, but still entertaining and each episodes leaves you wanting to see what happens next. It has been green lit for a season 2. |

Interesting finale. I was surprised by who survived. I thought it would be the other. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So this, and due to the complexity of the story, was a bit hard to catch up with in season 2, but they eventually help you along with getting you up to speed with the story. The story is dense, complex, and intriguing, dealing with the difficulties of foreign (and human) relations--which 99% of the time is likely mundane, repetitious, and ceremonial, but that other 1%.... The story gets even better in season 2, and has great potential for season 3. It is some of the best drama on TV. |
I just started watching season 2 this weekend. I loved the first season; definitely one of my favorite shows of the last few years. It’s one of the few that nail it on every level. Kinda mad I didn’t get to it sooner. Glad yo hear you think it gets even better. |
Season 2 was awesome. They really built on top of the existing layers rather than simply keep them going. Allison Janney is spectacular (no surprise, but still, wow!) and that finale. Usually I can see things coming, or at least have an idea that reduces the surprise, but in this case there is so much going on and possible scenarios that this one got me without feeling like it came out of nowhere or was contived. And the way it played out was brilliant _________________ "You know it seems the more we talk about it, it only makes it worse to live without it."

My son loves it. He’s watched it all a couple of times through. I was out in the middle of the first season; for me it didn’t have the same depth that GOT did where even the worst characters gave you something to be intrigued about. _________________ "You know it seems the more we talk about it, it only makes it worse to live without it."

This Trump-TikTok stunt is hilarious.
And it is also sad. The stunt will probably work on non-voters. _________________ When the world grows. Grow with it. |

Silo on Apple. SciFi post apocalyptic. Another you say? Yep, and another good one.
This one is dark and often dreary as the world's survivors struggle to get by in their underground home. Sounds familiar, and it is as it borrows from so many other apocalyptic moves/shows. What drives this is the mystery of what happened to get there, a mystery to the audience and the survivors as well. If living in a large city, densely populated has problems, imagine doing it underground without natural sunlight, living in total ignorance of the past. But there are some wanting answers. Our heroine is among these answer seekers and she in her quest is central to the story.
It can be a bit of a slow burner but does it ever blaze in the final of season two, an ending that will have you asking yourself wtf just happened. Guaranteed. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

I finally made it around to finishing “Bel-Air” season 3. One of the better seasons and the final minute leave a couple big questions to be answered. I hope they start producing season 4 soon. |

I heard (possibly in this thread) that Goliath season 2 was a big let down so I never gave it a chance. I think I will give season 1 a go. |

Is anyone watching Netflix, Strong Girl Nam-soon? It's sometimes silly, and serious but entertaining. It's about drugs. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Just finished season 2, what the heck was that crap?
I think I’m going to watch Banshee next. I’m not hearing great things about Goliath season 3. Season 1 was awesome though! Thanks for getting me to watch that. |

The Pitt is my favorite thing on TV right now.
Severance season 1 was really good. But I didn't think it was an all-time great season of TV, like some others thought.
And season 2 so far ... I dunno. _________________ When the world grows. Grow with it. |
