I can applaud his defense at least. We've seen how bad we are without him on that end.

Hes just not that guy on offense. He doesnt have one move that I see him consistently make game to game.

Either his face up jumper is rolling and hes having a good game, or he misses a few and his entire game falls apart.

I openly wondered if the Klutch gang was going to tank to pressure Rob and Jeanie to sign a star and AD and Bron are doing nothing to change this perception.

A crazy conspiracy theory is easier to believe than he just doesn't care enough to dominate.

AD's not going to do that because one of the rumors doing the rounds is Lakers are using this period to see if they can build around AD after Lebron leaves and if he doesn't pass they'll try and trade him for someone like Kyrie or something. AD and Luka would be a devastating pairing.

It just doesn't make sense to me the way he's playing.

I'm still traumatized by all the Windhorst reporting about how we are still going for Kyrie.

Obviously if we are winning then that becomes difficult to justify

We will see what AD is made of, no doubt he will play well against ORL but we need to see him step up as a leader of the team with LBJ out. They will all be looking at how he responds, he needs to get the guys juiced up again.

Well that didn't go well.

Was expecting him to have a 35-40 point game tonight after what happened in the last game, guess not.

Knowing how sensitive AD is, he probably read all the criticism from the end of the DAL game on social media and was pouting. He looked pretty disinterested out there tonight.

This wouldn't surprise me.

One is supposed to be a franchise player and other one is a role player

Point is AD got outplayed by a role player

AD needs to pick it up. We're not making the playoffs if he doesn't ball out.

Yeap. Horrible.
But I'll still have to take AD.

Was it chewing out as in insulting him or motivating him? I really dont know but if it was insulting, I can totally see why AD would space the f out and look almost disinterested. My gut really tells me that its temporary though

I mentioned it in the Dallas Game thread but my lipreading skills saw something about "you have to do it yourself" or something. Don't think that really counts as a chewing out

I think he is still focused on his foot..
He is a great player but currently we have to set him up for him to be successful
I know he is strong enough to get to the rim on his own but settles for (bleep) jumpers or shows bad moods when they don't hand him the ball in the post

He is a finisher, one of the best at it in the game but not able of creating his own offense consistently.

With James, that flaw doesn't matter because he creates all the offense. But on his own, doesn't work - he needs a creator.

AD reminds me of a more athletic Aldridge. Not really a #1 guy.

I wish that’s true, but LMA has one of the best mid range jumpers in the history, and AD is not even close to that level.

LMA had no post game and non-existent defense
