KAT may be more valuable than AD on offense because he can space the floor better.
But when you look at defense and all the rest, AD wins by miles as a player. It's close on offense, can give the edge to KAT because he's shown he can help his team's spacing big time. Defensively? AD by a lot.

The only thing KAT does better than AD is shoot threes.
AD has him beat everywhere else offensively and defensively and especially as a two way player. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Wemby, Herb Jones, Bam Adebayo all had more votes than AD!
Do fans vote for this? it can be from actual players or coaches lol... _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood.

Definitely would not give the edge to KAT in anything over AD other than shooting threes just like MJST said. If you need a #1 scoring option, its still AD quite obviously over KAT and even more so in the playoffs.

I take AD all day on offense and twice on Sundays
Kat can hit 3’s but is nowhere close to AD on offensive side

AD is definitely better, he doesn't get enough love from the league, but when he's not play the Lakers on D are utter garbage and when he is we can play like a top defensive team....we need a coach to keep him fully engaged consistently every game
Surprised they didnt vote some rando in instead of him, but guess no choice when hes that good and healthy _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

Only player in the league to be on both All-NBA and All-Defense
Yup, that's fair and accurate.
💯
…and it’s not outta pocket to think he probably makes first team honors in both as well as win DPoY if he actually didn’t play outta pocket. Too bad management is mismanaging the roster by not reaching deeper into their pocket$ so that they can give him more than just the minimum.
And to think they been doing it for years, even after saying this 😒
Quote:
“We want a decade of dominance out of him here, right? So we got to do what’s best for his body, and having him bang against the biggest centers in the West every night is not what’s best for his body or for our team and the franchise," Pelinka stated in response to Davis' request to play the four.

This quote and the other one from Rob that basically said LBJ committed to the Lakers so the Lakers should commit to him by using picks to put the best team together to compete for a ship is very disturbing because it doesn’t look like he acted on either quote. _________________ When reasonably possible, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a completely committed effort by the GM for the last 2 off seasons nor the last 2 trade deadlines. What is going on?
Interesting that AD has played in 80% of games while being a full time center the past 2 seasons. Seems to be the best position for his durability. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

Since acquiring LeBron the Lakers have traded 6 first round picks and a swap. _________________ 14-5-3-12

He also went to a sports scientist for the first time ever when he hurt his foot. So I think it’s more that than anything because whatever he got out that meeting, he’s been freakishly durable.
I should have copied the link, but on Facebook they have a "clip" of AD speaking about the Lakers decision to draft Bronny. AD is saying things that you know he would not say like: "they had no business using the 55th pick on a kid who averaged 4.5 points a game" and "he's not even an NBA player and we drafted him because he's LeBron's son".
The serious and funny side of the clip is that there's no doubt someone probably used an AI assisted means to copy his voice as close as it could, and have him say things that he certainly wouldn't say even if he thought it.
It was both funny and scary because it reflects how AI can be used to create an alternate reality for a lot of misinformed and mislead folks.

Eh, that's three firsts and the swap for AD. The Danny Green for Schroder swap does not strike me as a LeBron move at all. That leaves just the Westbrook trade and the pick to recover from it.
I bet if you did this for every other max player in the league you'd get the same count or more, and most of those players never won a title during their tenures.
