Notice one thing about his farewell post? Didn't mention Rob/Jeanie...

Man this just don't look right... Rob didn't have to do him like that.

There is less than a 0% chance that Dallas wins a ring with AD. The future will tell us whether I am right or wrong. Please set some reminders for the next several years. I will happily eat crow if Dallas wins. AD is so soft, he falls to the floor every game writhing in pain. He never had a strong male role model. He is is not a winner. He is a loser. Let’s see how things play out in Dallas.

You're (bleep) pathetic.

Well I feel like after you attacked me I have responded to every single one of your attacks, while you have ducked nearly all of my responses. You didn’t join this board until after LeBron arrived. You think this team is worse. You think Dallas is better. You don’t seem like a great fan. I wouldn’t call you out on it but you started attacking my fandom…you are a hater. Just admit you love AD and the Mavericks more than the Lakers

Clearly reading comprehension isn't your strongest suit.

I guess I’m done as well. You have no ability to back up your position. I wish you and your Mavericks the best of luck.

I've literally responded to your question. You seem to be the one refusing to read through it. Not my fault you lack the attention span to read through what i said.

And yes if we do not add further pieces Dallas are currently better.

Welp after 4 back and forths, now you have answered my question that you stubbornly ducked. Let’s see how the teams do against each other in the next two games they have scheduled.

I guess since you are a superior lakers fan you will be rooting for the mavericks to win as I root for the Lakers to win.

The Lakers are better.

Im a better fan than you and thats all i know

I dont throw dirt on great players who brought the team a title.

I dont call them soft losers who lack a male role model

thats pathetic behavior and i feel sad for you.

I guess the name is ironic.

I'll be right here rooting for the lakers to win

You'll be right here calling AD a soft loser lacking a role model once again.

Legit question how old are you?

You can be happy about the trade, but I don’t get attacking his character and mentioning him not being a role model.

Unless you have proof or a basis for what you’re saying I don’t get it lol.

I’ve been around, coaching and participating in pee-wee, middle school, high school and low level College sports my whole life. It’s normal for boys to complain about every boo-boo they get, but at a certain point around age 13-16 someone gives them the message to “quit (bleep)” and something clicks in them. When you go down, you get right back up and act tough, and wait to see if it was really something serious. Most of the time, it subsides after a a minute or two. I needed to be told to “quit (bleep)” in my high school days, as did many others. I have seen AD fall to the floor writhing in pain, saying to the trainers “it’s bad!” Nearly every other game, only to get back up and be playing a couple minutes later. He is a serial injury false alarm guy. He’s way too old to be acting like he just had a career ending injury a dozen times a season.

If I'm AD... I'm asking out in the offseason. Ask them to send me to a team like OKC, Spurs or Clippers

Specially if they don't bring Kyrie... Then Klay can enjoy his title chance for turning us down on his own.

Lol. He should ask to go to Denver. Jokic at the 5 and AD at the 4 would be crazy

SERIOUSLY PATHETIC.

AD might disappoint us at times but character wise and insulting his family is way way uncalled for.

AD looks to be a great family guy. He also was raised by two good parents.

This was one of really dominant Qs from AD this year.

At his best the guy is a 2way big who can give you both defensive and offense dominance.

I appreciated his time here and will always look back on his 2019-20 production as one of the best a Laker has ever given the franchise.

But real talk. At 31 I just can’t buy in that he would be doing this for too much longer. Actually when he was 29 I thought by now he’d already be past being an elite player and on decline. He proved me wrong. Maybe he can stay in elite level until 35 but that is so rare for players his size. That’s why we had to trade him before it was too late (I was actually hoping for more of a OKc package). Still shocked it was a player of Luka’s level.

Anyway already miss AD. Last time we had an all star that played elite defense was young Kobe. I won’t lie unlike many I don’t enjoy stars that play all offense and zero defense as much as I do stars that bring it on both ends. That’s what made young (wth Shaq)Kobe so special. Not only a Jordan type on O but a Pippen type on D for us. Lethal.

Not that this ranking equates to anything beyond this ranking, but it still indicates that AD was/is quite the player, both during the regular season and post season.

AD"s Lifetime PER:

Code:
Rank    Player          PER
 4.   Anthony Davis    26.86

Playoffs
Code:
Rank    Player          PER
 5.   Anthony Davis    26.59

AD, up to this point in their careers, has been a better player than Luka.

Next time we'll see that AD lakers jersey is when they put it up in the rafters. Sad to think about, but really thankful for him. I'm a big AD fan, and I'll still root for him in dallas.

After reading AD’s farewell post and watching him soo joyful wearing his blue Lebron 22 Nike’s in his first practice with the Mavs got me going with a conspiracy theory spinning in my head.

A part of me believes he may be behind this trade from the start. I think Rob tried really hard to get AD that legit secondary big whereas teams were just asking for too much in return.

AD and the rest of the world knows without a legit big next to him he will not be able to beat Jokic and Aaron Gordon. Losing to them a third time would be too damn embarrassing.

Now with Gafford and Lively it’s unlikely that would happen.

There’s that chance AD was behind this entire trade. AD, Rob, and Nico are the only ones who knew

Agreed. AD might get a parade this season though, if everything breaks the right way. I'm going to be rooting hard for him if we can't make it. I think AD is going to change a lot of minds over the next few months as people finally see him without the Laker hater glasses on and see that this wasn't as lop sided a trade as advertised.

Also depends on his "freak" injuries as well..Mavs fans are gonna have a heart attack on eye pokes/falling down to ground like we get per game.
