Basically most of our draft picks+Zion....like an alternate Laker future...

It's weird.
They have a bunch of young talent, but I don't like the fit of the team....
The should tank this upcoming season and figure out their team identity and who to get rid of as well...

I don't assume they're done.
I could easily see them not resigning Randle, since he isn't a great fit with Williamson.
Any of the guys we sent to them could be sent somewhere else.

Maybe we can trade AD for the lot of 'em at the trade deadline

I will root for the Pelicans over every team not named the Lakers. Lakers are my family, but Pelicans will be my close friend. I hope Ingram, Ball and Hart kill it. I hope they resign Randle too, but I'm guessing he's gone. _________________LakersGround's Terms of Service

I will happily be rooting for Pels as my second team this season.
Same position as LakerSanity.
Unless they are playing the Lakers, they will be my team over anyone else.

As a Laker supporter/fan, this thread actually makes some sense....as opposed to the "I'm also a Clipper Fan" thread.

Their PG really played well in Summer league as did their center...
They need to make a few more trades....
Too many guards on their team and need more big men so Zion can redshirt this season instead.

The topic is semantic's. I was watching "High Noon" on ESPN today and the host were talking about Zion's knee injury. Both were talking if NO knew if Zion was out of shape to play in summer league. Pablo said people loved to watch Zion play when he is "Thick". Every time he described Zion as "Thick" Bomoni face palmed. Should Pablo be excused, when every man on the the planet uses the term "Thick" with the shape of women who have a little extra weight in the right places. If I'm Zion... I'm Big Mad. _________________ "If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. Thats "mamba mentality" we don't quit, we don't cower, we don't run. We endure and conquer.

Watching the Lakers future right now... BI, Zo, Hart, Hunter... all playing. Pelicans vs Hawks. Zion is really fun to watch.

Didn’t know there was this thread! Don’t like BI’s fit in this team. Won’t have the ball in his hands as much. _________________ Make the Lakers Great Again

Deandre Hunter and Cam Reddish both hit a couple of threes. Showing their NBA range. Zo with 3 treys. I think Zo won't put himself in a percentage hole this year. He'll be a high 30's three pt shooter.

ZO looked great. BI good on defense but clunky on offense again. _________________ Make the Lakers Great Again

Dang, Zion has amazing body control to go with his hops. This is MJ athleticism in a thick body.

Zo looks healthy and his shot looks good. I'm blaming Luke

Ingram has looked terrible so far tonight. Lonzo and Zion appear to have great chemistry already. _________________ 14-5-3-12

Zion is so effortless man. 29 pts on 12/13. The real deal. I hope the Pelicans develop him well for us.
