He's now been told by Ty Lue that he's out of the rotation for the foreseeable future.
And his stats even after the trade aren’t “terrible”. He’s still overall 12 points off the bench on average efficiency. I would like to know what exactly does this guy do to get so much hate in the locker room? _________________ Russell Westbrick: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif

RUN IT BACK
OKC got this superstar and potential MVP (only 25 yo!) PLUS 5 first rounders for Paul George. Of course this moves brought Clippers Kawhi, but still it feels like another move that contributes to the (bleep)-for-luck history of this hapless franchise.

SGA currently has the eighth-shortest MVP odds at +1800, putting him on the fringe of contention behind the usual suspects of Nikola Jokic (+400), Luka Doncic (+400), Jayson Tatum (+650), Giannis Antetokounmpo (+800), Joel Embiid (+1000), Stephen Curry (+1100), competing with another up-and-comer in Devin Booker (+1500). _________________ Lakers fan since that Magical day June 25, 1979.

Might even get a lottery pick this summer if clips keep fluttering _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“
Clippers have talent, so they will win games eventually.
Selfish play and poor chemistry will doom them by the time they get to the post season . . . as it has before. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
Crazy Westbrook led the team in +/- and they had a 99-91 lead, until Lue decided to bench him for Harden.
Benching Westbrook for Harden had nothing to do with the loss, going small against Jokic determined the loss.
Damn…and Murray didn’t even play!
Clippers are so done...lol. No draft picks going into a new arena. And they're stuck with Brick and Harden because those guys have no trade value atm. I almost feel sorry for them. _________________ Offense gets the glory but DEFENSE (and rebounding) wins championships!!
2024 1st -> unprotected to OKC
2024 2nd -> unprotected to LAL
2025 1st->swap to OKC
2025 2nd-> unprotected to LAL
2026 1st->to OKC
2026 2nd-> unprotected to MEM/HOU
2027 1st->swap rights to OKC
2027 2nd->unprotected to Atlanta
2028 1st->unprotected to Philly
2028 2nd->unprotected to Charlotte
2029 1st->pick swap with Philly, protected for picks 1-3
2029 2nd->unprotected to Philly
I didn’t realize we have two Clippers 2nd round picks for the next couple of years.
That 2nd round pick this season could actually be decent if Clippers continue to flutter.
Both the 2024 and 2025 secound round picks courtesy of the Pat Bev/Thomas Bryant trade which also netted us Mo Bamba.
I love that the Lakers are part of the fleecing of the lowly Clippers. Suck 'em high and dried. _________________ Offense gets the glory but DEFENSE (and rebounding) wins championships!!
Flippers are doomed, their next 20 games are tough. They will probably be 5-15 in that stretch if they will still have no chemistry

Ballmer will fire everyone and blow it tf up, then. He won't go into the new arena with a legacy like that.

They still have Kawaii and PG plus a deep bench. They are going to be hard to beat come playoff time.

I still think it is crazy that the Lakers and Clippers have never played in a playoff series while both teams play at Staples Center/Crypto Arena
Ironically, the highest chance of this matchup happen was in the bubble (Not in LA lol) then the Clippers choked a 3-1 lead. _________________ The most important shot in basketball.
They are phasing Russ out just like the Lakers did.
Russ did not speak to the media on Friday night. Sound familiar?
Do they have any 2nd rd pick left to trade Russ? _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“

Followed by Clippers failing to accomplish anything as always.
The Clippers were so much more likeable during the Elton Brand/Lamar Odom/Corey Maggette era and the Baron Davis/Zach Randolph era. You never expected them to win anything, so it became fun to cheer for them as sort of an underdog and second LA team. Now it’s the opposite. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
