Rams on the clock. Hooker is there. But they could opt for one of the many CB's here, or a pass rusher. Maybe an outside shot at a tackle like Dawand Jones or Matthew Bergeron.
From our analysis on OLB Byron Young, Rams pick No. 77: "Athletic twitch, quick first step, picks up steam as a bull-rusher...relentless motor...not yet every-down player (re. run defense)." High upside as speed rusher with some power waiting to be developed.
From our analysis on DL Kobie Turner, the Rams' pick at No. 89: "Relentless, bouncy on his feet, great balance and flexibility and fantastic work ethic." Adds Turner plays "much stronger" than his listed weight of 293. Nickname is apparently "The Conductor" for his music ability.

I know this is likely to be a painful season. But I'm really happy that Sean McVay, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford are back with the team this year. Also defensive coordinator Raheem Morris. And by all accounts this year's draft was a success. Next year the team is going to have a boatload of cap space. The NFL released schedule yesterday. The Rams are projected to have around the 9th toughest schedule this year. The first three games are pretty tough.
