The Bengals have a good defense, but the Rams are bogging down in the red zone. Not running it enough, in my opinion.

0 for 7 so far on 3rd down.

0 for 3 so far in the red zone.

2 turnovers vs 0 for the Bengals so far.

The OL can't protect Stafford after Noteboom has gone out.

Hard to get an offense going when the QB is scrambling for his life.

Yeah this is like a jailbreak now. Stafford was so well-protected for the first 2 weeks, and it was OK until Noteboom went out. But since then, the Bengals are just teeing off.

I don't agree with this decision to punt. You're down 10 with barely over 6 minutes left, you have to go for it there.

Sigh, looks like the defense will have to get some points for the Rams.

That's a bad sack to take by Stafford, and, also, I think the Rams should have spiked the ball on that first down and kicked the FG with about 2:20 left. Would have given them 2 stoppages before the 2 minute warning and a fighting chance with enough time left if they got a 3-and-out and the ball back. Scoring with under 2 minutes left and 1 timeout, you're down to having to recover an onside kick, which is almost impossible in today's NFL.

And now they run it on first down? The clock management here has been brutal.

So McVay kicks a meaningless FG last week, and then this week, if he kicks a FG on the other side of the 2-minute warning, he strategically keeps his team in the game and increases the win probability significantly. So you lost by 3. Great. The odds of getting an onside kick are practically nil now.

Tough loss for the Rams, but despite the 1-2 record, I think the team is actually playing quite well all things considered.

Not much was expected of them this season and doubters were circling (myself included) but look at the schedule so far:

at Seattle

Home to San Francisco

at Cincinnati

That is a brutally tough schedule to start with for a young team and they have not been embarrassed in any of those games.

What's going on with the Rams? They lost to the 0-2 one-legged QB Bengals. They really need SuperKupp. Does anyone know Kupp's status? 5th round draft Puka Nacua is a surprise. He's ballin. I've always felt Matt Ryan is overrated. It's only 3 games there's a good chance they'll get it together.
