Yikes we're already down 19-3 when I hit the snooze button today lol. Hate to say this but if we drop to 3-6 is it too soon to tank for Caleb? |

Why tank for him? To me, it doesn't seem like he really wants to play football. I'm also concerned by his 6'1" height. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

3-5....guess playoffs are out of the equation. Wonder what the long term plans for the team is as they are going nowhere right now. |

If Matt is down for awhile with the dinged thumb then I can see Donald traded by Tuesday's deadline.
Other than WR, this squad is broke so might as well recoup some picks while you can. |

I wanted AD to retire a RAM but this may be the best way to handle it for both parties. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

If I had to choose between AD and Stafford I choose AD. Defense wins championships. If Stafford can't go Sunday I'm anxious to see what Brett Rypien can do. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

This is a bad Green Bay team they are playing this week, they have holes everywhere on their roster.
But if Stafford doesn't play, I don't know if I like their chances.
If he is healthy enough to play at his typical level, I like the Rams a lot +3 in this game.
Will be monitoring his health status before Sunday before I get in any actioni. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I would personally lock in GB -3 if I could. I don't think Stafford is going to play, but if he does, he is quite likely going to be less than 100% throwing the ball. And it feels to me like Green Bay is due to play a decent game, on top of that. If Rypien gets the start, as I suspect, that line will jump to 6-ish. |

Rams are going to depend heavily on Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Brett Rypien's best shot is to dip and dunk. Maybe some Darrell Henderson is in the playbook. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Lucas Havrisik, Brett Maher's replacement hit a 52+ yard field goal. Rams are on the board. They trail the Packers 7 - 3. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

McVay: "Hats off to the Packers and coach Lafleur. He had his guys ready to play and they came out and executed. We didn't do a good enough job as we could have today and that starts with me. We will look at the film to get some clarity on what we can do to be better and I'm excited to go into this bye week to reset and get us back to playing the way I know we are capable of."
Need to hear AD or Kupp sound off cuz this is unacceptable.
We run the same 5 plays every game no matter the personnel or game score or down and distance. Freaking pathetic. Need a hard nosed veteran assistant coach to check McVay when he starts with his BS _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Blown out by a bad Packers team. You have to wonder what the goals for this season are now that it looks like they are not going anywhere. |

Yeah, I actually watched 90% of that game, it was awful.
That team is done this year. I'd love to eat my words, but that isn't going to happen.
They weren't really in sync offensively even with Stafford there. Kupp looked mortal. Either Stafford needs to get well or we need to find a new QB for the future.

Well I was right in arguing to take GB and lay the points, ha. Also grabbed the GB defense in a fantasy league.
In looking at the big picture, clearly the Rams aren't tanking. They didn't move Donald at the deadline and there was absolutely no talk of them doing so. McVay stuck around. Stafford is around, and has actually looked good winging it this year (even if the TD % has been flukily low), and my guess is that he, McVay, and the vets like Kupp and Donald are going to be around next year as they try to do as much as they can and continue to build the team up, with actual draft picks next year. In the end, they aren't going to be as bad as the teams that absolutely have true incentive to tank now, like the Bears, Cardinals, and Giants. But they could end up with a pick near the back of the top 10 if they are bad enough, and maybe that gets you a top pass rusher, DB, or offensive lineman. |

This team has the talent the problem is filling those holes. My concern is how much longer Stafford and Donald will stick around if the losing gets to be a bit much as they don't need to keep doing this as their legacies are secure. |

#Rams are releasing quarterback Dresser Wynn and are expected to add Carson Wentz as a backup to Matthew Stafford, per a league source

^ love it! Start him. Last week was painful to watch.
During the game i kept thinking that Perkins would be good right now. The pocket keeps collapsing. Small sample size of my watching but Allaric seems to be the weak spot. Would be good if a running QB was back there. I don't think Bennet has that skillset nor the experience in general. Rypien wasn't able to get out of harms way enough &/or make the reads/throws. Just a not enough juice to power up anything. |

straight drop back passer belongs to NFL history lesson. need some type of mobile QB nowadays to run the modern system. |

SHOULD have signed a decent backup QB before the season. Anyone with even slight football sense could see that Rypien and Bennett were NOT going to even be remotely serviceable. I remember when we drafted Goff... MANY Rams fans were pissed because they wanted Wentz instead. Looks like they get their wish, albeit 7 years late. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Agreed. And thought the same about Goff/Wentz
I'm confident Wentz gives the team a fighting chance. Kind of like Baker last year. |

The best back up quarterbacks are often unwilling to sign in the off-season. Wentz was waiting to pick a team where he would get to play. He turned down offers to be a sitting back up. I think Baker did the same thing last year as well. |
