Jimmy Garoppolo's 2 game suspension may hurt. Can he practice with the team?
Yes he can practice.
Good. Jimmy G's a 2 time Super Bowl winner. I hope he stays healthy. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

The Rams lost at Houston 17-15. They end preseason 2-1. The Rams have a lot of injuries especially to there offensive line which is not ideal. Hopefully some of them will be ready to go for game 1 in two weeks at Detroit. Phase 1 of the new practice facility at Warner Center is almost complete. Go Rams! _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
Enerst Jones has been dealing with a knee injury in the pre season and hasn't practiced much. He's in the 4th year of his contract and the Rams don't want to extend him this season.
That's an outdoor facility. According to wrcc.dri.edu, the average maximum temperature in Woodland Hills, California in July is 94.9°F, and in August it's 95.4°F. That's hot.

I live in Woodland Hills and it get's very hot in the summer. Lots of days 100+. It also gets cold in the winter and a it gets a good amount of rain. You also have santa ana winds to contend with and occasional smoke from fires. Not ideal conditions for outdoors. I heard there might be a tent built for the next phase. Hopefully that will cover the field. The good news is it's natural grass. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

The Rams have erected a large temporary outdoor tent at their complex several times, particularly for open-air practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it wasn’t as good as a proper domed practice facility, and it frequently felt perilous in the powerful winds.
There was a lot of times in COVID when I thought that tent might be coming down on us,” McVay said with a grin. “You have a two-minute team meeting and you’re trying to reach the back of the room, and then you’re just shot after that in terms of your voice. That’s probably why my voice is always so hoarse. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Will follow up on this later in the week but Jones held command of the green dot for the Rams defense. I can see Quentin Lake (at star) or Kam Curl taking this over; this player obviously has to be on the field full time. In the short term Reeder and Hummel have done it too.
This must make sense to the inner workings of the Rams but it makes no sense to this fan.
I had some concerns for this defense at the start of the season. I now have major concerns. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo"
McVay clearly knows what he's doing, and knows far more than I about football and the Rams, but . . . I'm not buying it. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo"

McVay also said that Kyren Williams is going to be the punt returner, and I find that to be very interesting. How many teams would allow their bellcow running back to return punts or kicks? It suggests to me that Corum is going to be involved right away and get meaningful work, as opposed to a guy who almost never plays like a Christian McCaffrey backup or something.
Straight up, are the Rams better today than yesterday? The answer is no.
Also, according to this, the trade was for a pick swap, not just a 5th rounder, alone. Actually, they would have received more to let him become a free agent at the end of the season and received a compensation pick. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo"
These amateurs on the internet have no clue what they are talking about. I think I will give the Rams management team the benefit of the doubt. They no what they are doing. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
