Pretty dominating showing by Philly. I like how they've built their team. Well deserved.

Don't say that, have faith in your Chiefs.

I had two wishes, one was granted. Saquon's gonna get a ring. He stuck it to the Giants. Also, the conspiracists were closeted.

I'm no mathematician, but I think you had a 50/50 chance with those 2 wishes today, Jo.
Lol

Did you also put 5 bucks on the Eagles to win and 5 bucks on the Chiefs?

My wishes were to witness history or Saquon would get a ring. In that sense you're right. Shutting up the conspiracists was an extra treat.

Hate to break it to you, but the Chiefs getting blown out in the SB doesn't mean they didn't get a ton of ref help to get there. We are seeing what they are really like when they don't have the refs bailing them out in close games.

Hate to break it to you but you continuously said the game would be decided by the refs. Where did the refs help? You were all over the hands to the face and then LINK

Not much the refs can do when the Chiefs were getting blown out almost from the start.

According to you the refs weren't going to let that happen. A Chiefs touchdown called back. You said that wouldn't happen.

They sure tried at the start.

C'mon man. Your conspiracy theory was blown away

Yeah, contradictory statements.

So a blowout doesnā€™t mean they didnā€™t a ton of help from the refs.

But, we are seeing what happens when they donā€™t get a ton of help from the refs.

YUP!

Curious. Did the higher-ups, who according to you, told them to side with the Chiefs change their minds?

Mahomes put up some garbage time stats at the end:

Quote:
21/32
257
8.0
3 TD
2 INT
95.4 rating

This will help his legacy

Well going solely by the score because I don't really care about football like that looks like who is it the Chiefs? Managed to make it not completely embarrassing. But between the two teams I really didn't know much of anything about I was rooting for the Eagles so congrats Eagles lol

America won. Halftime show was great and Serena making an appearance made it better. Go raiders.

I have little doubt that if the Chiefs hadn't been dominated from the start and managed to make it a close game, they would have got their usual favorable treatment; a threepeat would have been a great story for the league.

But we'll never know, because they were never really in the game, and as I said earlier, in that kind of game, there's not much the refs can do to help a team that can't help themselves.

They had multiple chances to turn the game the Chiefs way early on. They didn't have to call touchdowns back. They didn't have to call holding on Chiefs 1st downs. Those instances poke holes in your conspiracy theories.

2000-2002 Lakers still remain the most recent addition of the major US pro sports league to 3-peat.

I said this before, but you would have thought that a team with such obvious OL issues would have that issue come back to haunt them. It somehow didn't until this Super Bowl. They were playing their LG at LT, for heaven's sakes! Yes, Thuney is a great LG, but there's a reason he hasn't been a LT for his entire career. He's a great guard, that's what he is. He got exposed badly tonight, though he wasn't alone in getting dominated up front.

By the way: first time in the last 12 playoff games that the Chiefs were called for more penalties than their opponent. And they didn't win. Shocking!

First time in a long time where I thoroughly enjoyed a game that wasn't competitive by halftime. Usually that would only happen if one of my favorite teams is doing the ass-kicking.

And that's exactly how things should stay in our universe/timeline unless Shohei and company would like to join the 3-peat club then no prob!

I agree with this. The best (only) way to take the shadiness out of the equation is to completely dominate.

They need to figure out how to put out stadium level hip hop performances, I mean, from Dre, Snoop, fifty, now Lamar, could be so so much better

NFL teams should all study the Bucs and Eagles Super Bowls vs the Chiefs to figure out how to stop Mahomes.
