Chiefs remain undefeated. Block a game winning FG.

Missed the KC game, but Eberflus deserves to be fired. Gutless offense, WR talent that seems to be going through the motions, horrible pass protection, clueless play calls, and no adjustments throughout the game.

Eberlus needs to go.

Williams: 16/30, 120 yards passing, 9 sacks for 51 yards lost.

You call a blocked field goal lucky? Teams have block field goal plays.

You don't think it's a good team rising to the occasion?

I can't give Jayden Daniels enough praise. If he continues to play the way he's been playing ROY should be a no-brainer.

Wilson's moon ball is alive. Steelers lead 28-27. 2:22 left in game.

Wilson's famous hard count count gets the job done. Washington jumps to give the Steelers a 1st down and win.

Speaking of lucky teams, the Steelers. Of course the defense jumps offsides on 4th and 1 when the entire world knows that they aren't actually going to snap it lol. And on that 4th down play from Washington to try to keep that last drive alive, if Ertz was short, I mean, he was barely short of the line to gain. So of course, the side judge spots it a full yard short of where Ertz was.

Hell, I knew they were going to try to make the Commanders jump. Wilson's known to do that with his hard count. So far Mike's change at QB when they were winning is proving to be a good decision.

I know there are plenty of USC fans here, but your guy Caleb looks awful.

While some of this is on the playbook (high school routes), and sloppy route execution, some of this is on Williams being gun shy. He's holding the ball too long as his post-snap processing isn't there. You can blame poor A gap blocking but there were plenty of times that he had time yet he'd hold the ball way too long. He lacks composure leading to inaccurate throws. Poor pocket presence; a startling inability to sense pressure. He doesn't understand how to navigate a collapsing pocket let alone maintaining proper footwork as he attempts to move.

At this point they should sit him as he needs the reset button to be pressed. The NFL eats rookie QBs alive, prematurely ruining careers. If this continues Chicago will ruin Williams.

Dallas is done. Stick a fork in 'em. Jerry Jones is the reason for the season. Eagles tush push in full force. Up 7 zip on Cowboys.

Almost every Chicago pass play is a short pass outside of the hash marks, either behind the LOS or maybe 5 or 6 yards out, max. Are they scared of throwing it towards the middle of the field when NE defends with a box safety and a Cover 2 shell? Those screens and short outside passes aren't working.

Addendum edit: Poor control of the A gap is part of it, but zero adjustments.

It’s the same problem they had with Fields. At this point you need to look beyond the QB. I knew that their O line would be a problem, they put all their assets into skill players.

Daniels wasn’t very good today, he looked like the rookie that he is. Maye looked pretty good on a worse team. There are some talented young QBs in the league.

They spotted the ball where contact was made, according to replay they got it right. I can’t figure out how they can get a bang bang call like that right but miss an offensive player grabbing a defenders jersey and stretching it out.

Uh, the replay cleared showed the ball on the 41 yard line and nowhere near the 42 yard line where they spotted it. The ball was never near the 42 even when he caught it.

What's going on in New England? Is Jerod Mayo real?

Cowboys suck. SAS is going to have a field day tomorrow. He'll probably be wearing his oversized cowboy hat with a cigar in his mouth smiling ear to ear. Eagles don't want to risk an injury to Hurts. Pickett is in to finish the game

That was really embarrassing from Dallas today. Rush had looked competent in his previous starts. He looked like a guy who shouldn't even be a third stringer today. It was pathetic, their entire offensive operation.

It is amazing what Jim Friggen Harbaugh and Jesse Minter have done with the Chargers defense.

No team has scored more than 20 points on them this season, that is amazing in the modern NFL. And this is after the defense was such a clusterF&%$ for years including the super embarrassing Raiders game last season when the Raiders lit them up for 70 or something with a bum at QB.

Harbaugh is a magician, give him 1 to 2 more drafts and watch out.

Well at least one team from Houston beat a team from Detroit but it wasn’t the Texans.

All that hype and they are basically down to one last Aaron Rodgers season in 2025.

Which is a good thing. I strongly suspect there's a serious leadership problem on this team. Woody is an idiot, the HC is just an interim warm body, and Rodgers is an under-performing narcissist who blew off his responsibilities to his teammates during mandatory minicamp, and then called out another teammate in the press. The Jets team is like Chicago, they're dispirited and going through the motions.

The turnaround of the Chargers D is pretty crazy, especially considering that basically the only two starters anyone had every heard of before the year were Mack, Bosa, James, and Samuel, and two of those guys have missed significant time. Getting insane performances from guys like Deiyan Henley (who Staley had glued to the bench last year), Poona Ford, Taire Tartt, and 5th round rookie corners Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart.

I'm not convinced that this Defense is exactly as elite as the numbers to this point indicate, mostly because they haven't really played any good offenses -- KC and Arizona are probably the two best they've played but neither have exactly been world beaters this year.. But the point still stands, this defense is SIGNIFICANTLY better than any defense of the Staley era, despite probably being worse on paper than any of those teams.

Will be very interesting to see how they fare the next 5 games with Cincy, Baltimore, Atlanta, KC, and Tampa coming up

Chicago fired their Offensive Coordinator, Shane Waldron, which isn't surprising. I had no idea what they were trying to accomplish on Sunday, it certainly wasn't going to lead to a TD against a defensively mediocre New England team. The WR routes were something out of high school ball. I wasn't sure if that was on the OC for handing out a brain-dead playbook, or if that was the result of the Waldron believing that Caleb Williams was so overwhelmed that he needed a very simplified offense. Another thing I noticed was that Chicago has dialed back on play-action, which to me indicates that it is a loss in confidence in Caleb Williams being able to read and process the defense after he fakes the handoff. I really think they need to sit Caleb Williams as they are in danger of ruining him.

Here's a bombshell:

Quote:
After talking to a few people with knowledge of the situation, players went to Matt Eberflus & Ryan Poles asking them to make a change at offensive coordinator.

There have also been a few veteran players requesting Bagent starts.
