All about the $$$. He wasn't the only one we let walk on what would have been a value contract either. Imagine Lopez next to AD, and he wanted to sign here cheap. |

They actually picked THT over him. THT got paid more than what AC was asking for. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Using defensive RAPTOR, Caruso, AD and Brook are top 3 in the league. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Its crazy as Austin Reeves had a few games where he was nearly perfect to perfect on fields goals (6/7 this game).
Loved his "too small" sign. Probably going to be all over social media tomorrow. |

Bron knows all of Lakers nation hated him back in those years lol. My tinfoil hat theory is that's why he came to LA, to make fans of the biggest fanbase in the NBA and probably the group of his biggest haters lol |

Caruso should've hired Klutch. |

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed post-game interviews as much as I have tonight. |

To be fair, THT has actually been pretty good since he started getting playing time, and he's still only 22. Caruso is a good defender, but he's also only playing 24 minutes on a mediocre Bulls team, while averaging 5.6 points and 3 assists.
THT still can't shoot, and he'll never fulfill his potential until he can. Despite that, in 13 games this month, he's averaged 17.4 points (44.8% fg, 32.8% 3p), 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds. That stretch has included a 37/10/8 game, and most recently a 41/5/4 one. And he's 7 years younger than Caruso. His lack of shooting doomed him here, but they bet on his upside, which he may still fulfill. |

What's breaking through with THT is that those stats (when he goes off) have led to wins. They aren't meaningless. A lot of players on NBA benches and in the g-league can get those stats if given sufficient minutes, but can't do it while contributing to a winning team. That said, most of his games aren't like that. Those break through games have really inflated his overall averages. He's still really inconsistent despite being given the reins to run the offense and the usage rate to match. He had a freakin 44% usage rate against San Antonio.
The talent is there, but he still has to get more efficient. I also haven't watched his games enough to know whether he is playing D on the other end. Jazz could just be trying to showcase him, or maybe they really want to develop him. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service
