So happy about this pick, didn't think he would fall past 10. Even if he isn't a good defender they have a plug and play scorer for the bench if nothing else as a rookie. Rotation player with upside, they can get a center with whichever MLE they have left and a 2 way guy in a trade.

He was ranked 8th in ESPN’s draft.

Ranked 6th in Yahoo’s draft.

He feels like the Cam Whitmore that Lakers should’ve drafted last year instead of being cute with JHS.

Wow, I looked at all the mocks for CBS sports, about 6 in total. All had him going in the top ten. One even had him at No.3!

Crushed it with this pick. Was the best player available by a long shot and is ready to contribute right away. Wonder what this means for Max Christie. A Knecht/Christie wing is actually pretty intriguing from a developmental perspective
