I was watching the pregame show and Adrian Gonzalez and Jerry Hairston and they both said the new playoff format hurts the number one and two seeds. They said because of the amount of days off. They said baseball players don't like to have that many days off. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

If the format is going to be what it is, you'd rather have a free ride into the next round. Saying anything else is just dumb. In the KBO (South Korea), the top team in the regular season, I believe, only has to play one series to win the title. What, would they rather have to open play in the early rounds? Yeah, no way. |

DON'T LET MUNCY GET HOT! Seriously, if he's really back, we're incredibly dangerous.

The last couple HRs shows Muncy is truly back. He is catching up to really good high heat and blasting them. This is why the the best run organization in baseball the Dodgers know so much more than us regular fans: This is why they were so patient with Muncy. Like I said before and why I never said anything when the Dodgers were quiet at the deadline: Never doubt Friedman and the Dodgers. They know what they are doing....much more than Preller thats for sure - he who trades for big names and expects a team to just turn around. Preller is doing the same crap he did in 2015 and we completely ripped him off even then when we traded the Bison to them for Grandal. |

Friedman has truly become the Jerry West of the Dodgers. The man with the Midas touch. |

All this with Buehler, May and Treinen out.....its laughable. If you want u can throw in Kershaw cause he is out now. Four all star caliber players out and this is happening. |

At least in the regular season, we are even more dominant than the Braves and Yankees in the 90s-2000s |

This squad is definitely on a mission. There's something special about this year's team.
In the meantime, Lux takes over at short and makes an error. Well should have been a routine play but he missed to put it correctly.

I mean that's 3 out of our best 4 starters out. And we're crushing everyone. _________________ KOBE |

If he is, that's so huge for this team. I've been really critical of him this year, so I hope this isn't just a fleeting hot streak. |

Muncy slowly shaping into form... he was the missing piece last post season. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. I think they were saying compared to the old format where the wild card was only 1 game and then straight into the NLDS, vs. now where they have to wait for a 3 game series. |

Angels Twins 3-3 bottom 10th. Possible Ohtani walk off since he'll bat 2nd.
Edit: Damn they are walking him.
Edit #2: Ohtani gets in to a dp. LOL. Going to 11th. |

We’re 79-33.
We’ve played 112 games with exactly 50 games left.
The Mariners have the record of 116 wins.
We need to go 37-13 the rest of the way to tie them.
That’s very doable although chances are we won’t go for it.
I think getting swept by the SF Giants was our low point. We dropped to 37-23 while the SF Giants were 33-26, (-3.5 games back).
Since then, we’ve gone: 42-10
The SF Giants have gone: 23-31
We picked up 20 games on them.
Man, 42-10 is amazing.
That’s up there with our 42-8 stretch in 2013 and 43-7 stretch in 2017.
Quote: | The Dodgers just completed quite possibly the best 50-game stretch in MLB history
43-7 over the last 50 games, with a +115 run differential. Complete domination from this special team.

Yeah, 37-13 the rest of the way is very doable. Why not? |

So far, Keibert Ruiz hasn’t hit as well as I thought he would:
.245 avg
.304 obp
.355 slg
.659 ops
330 AB
6 HR
24 BB |
