Overly celebrating regular season wins isn't the mark of a winning franchise. If their fans are excited they beat an injured Lakers team then clearly things haven't been going well for Chicago sports |

if LeBron is here I can see us having 1 ring with Julius, BI, Lonzo and Randle. If we kept Thomas Bryant as our stretch 5 as well.
For sake of argument I think we win 1 ring with that group. We'll never know bit I think there was enough talent there if added with the vets we wound up getting that we'd have a won at least 1 chip. Depends on how much you think LeBron adds to the team, and if the combination of BI, Lonzo, Julius match Anthony Davis's production. |
Pure speculation.
You must've missed Randle laying an egg and getting exposed these recent playoffs. I can only imagine how the board would've pounced on him.

Problem with this hypothetical question is James had no interest in playing with those young guys. He threw them under the before mid season and quit on them by seasons end. |

| Just wish we had some shooters. These guys are just not cutting it. Wayne, Monk, Melo are not consistent. Then you add in Ariza and Nunn who are not consistent shooters at all either. Then our superstars are not good from 3 either. They are all streaky shooters. We need people that can shoot night in and night out. I don't understand how Rob doesn't understand this. |

Lakers lose 121-103
Was actually competitive for quite a bit of the game. Lakers D actually looked solid. Bulls were hitting lots of contested jumpers. Were down 9 at the half. Russ was keeping the team in the game.
They got within about 6 in the 3rd...and then the wheels fell off. Bulls aggressive D just seemed to wear down, Lakers D then went back to bad habits, and the bad third quarter reared its head again. Outscored 37-25 in that quarter. Game over.
Bulls really befuddled AD, immediately doubling, very aggressively, with their guys (usually LaVine doubled)...and they would immediately start snatching at the ball. There were likely quite a few fouls the refs did not call (this crew stunk, Scott Wall stinks too), which made the Bulls even more aggressive. Not saying it made a difference, but was hard to watch.
Lakers now 8-7. They are what they are right now - a .500 team.

Howard is slightly washed, does a little bit in limited action

Tonight is a perfect example of a team not fun to watch on both sides of the ball. US.
An then a team really fun to watch on both sides of the ball in the Bulls.
Lebron will definitely make us fun again as he should lift up the entire roster with his greatness. An yes in year 19 if he can stay healthy.
We gotta a lot of work to do an it wouldn’t hurt to steal the Bulls motto especially on the defensive end. Teachable moment and it’s up to the guys to lock in.
