But improvisation is a very, very big deal in player evaluation and it takes and outrageously high skill set to create a high level of improvisation that leads to great outcomes.

A: One of the main reasons Moody fell from, say, #9 to #14 is because a couple of 23-year-old guards (who are both having solid seasons) were drafted ahead of him. I've got Smith at #3 now because his creator upside seems low for what I look for in a top overall pick and his perimeter defense is less impactful than what Holmgren can bring as a weakside rim protector.

Not a primary creator to be seen in this class. Crazy.
I like how Johnny Davis runs a PnR; Banchero's passing is legit; Holmgren and Ivey could level up as HC creators; but one of Jean Montero or Kennedy Chandler need to become that guy otherwise this is a draft bereft of a true #1 option. _________________ Under New Management

I think there's at least 2 #1 option types; and 3 typical #1 picks in this draft.

Unfortunately he is not 20 lbs heavier.
Then choose someone else. Some teams will actually wait for the weight gain like Jokic for Denver and Gasol for Memphis, and it'll pay dividends.
The idea of having an NBA ready body at 19 doesn't make sense anyway.
But hell, even Evan Mobley was roughly the same weight as Cade Cunningham. He's probably an All NBA Defensive 3rd teamer right now.
