(Brennan: ‘China would become a co-belligerent in a war of aggression’ if they give Russia lethal aid)
Quote:
Former CIA Director John Brennan joins Andrea Mitchell to weigh in on concerns that China is considering sending lethal weapons to Russia. “There will be consequences to this. And I think what Jake Sullivan was saying, by the time China would bear responsibility then for some of these war crimes, is that China would become a co-belligerent in a war of aggression along with Russia,” Brennan explains. “The Biden administration wants Xi Jinping to know that they would be crossing a line if they came in on the side of the aggressor, and they will bear full responsibility for those actions.”

My concern is China is a super power. If they join Putin in his quest it may embolden other nations run by dictators to help Russia. There are 52 countries run by dictators. I don't know how many have advanced weaponry. Not many of those are nuclear capable. We're living in perilous times. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"I want to tell you what, from the Russian point of view, the president and the United States have done for victory in this war," Stalin said. "The most important things in this war are the machines.... The United States is a country of machines. Without the machines we received through Lend-Lease, we would have lost the war."
Nikita Khrushchev offered the same opinion.
"If the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war," he wrote in his memoirs. "One-on-one against Hitler's Germany, we would not have withstood its onslaught and would have lost the war. No one talks about this officially, and Stalin never, I think, left any written traces of his opinion, but I can say that he expressed this view several times in conversations with me."

Long range missiles and carpet bombing is the best choice right now
Putin is actually more disgusting than I imagined
I know it's bad timing but I used to ask
"When was the last time Iraq attacked American soil? - When was the first time?"
Russia was never been attacked by Ukraine AND STILL HASN'T
Ukraine should be allowed blow up anything Russian they feel like.. except Putin is a Nuclear Terrorist
I never realized the world still had Monsters like Russia-Putin
More than 100,000++++++ Russians MURDERED BY PUTIN for his own financial gain.. The sooner he stops breathing the better the world will be
Unfortunately, the war will probably end in a stalemate with Russia gaining some territories. I have a hard time seeing how Ukraine can take back Crimea or those territories they lost in 2014. Russia is willing to throw more bodies at the problem, so no matter how many weapons the west keeps giving them they still aren't going to put boots on the ground (for good reason).

Is Russia sending actual Russians into the battlefield? Or are they sending in mostly immigrants (who may or may not have Russian citizenship…just not from Russia)?
Due to the unpopularity of this and the number of Russian lads already killed there, he's probably sending out a LOT of immigrants or those in Russia who they deem as less-than-a-real-Russian. Not to mention prisoners. They've gotta be into the dregs of the barrel at this point. What young Russian man in his right mind would willingly sign up w/ the military right now? Putin may wanna see the benefit in offering women to join up and be employed. It adds to his cannon fodder supply.
His inner circle must be very well compensated to know that no one has tried to kill him yet. Not even Hitler escaped such attempts. Novachok used against rivals, yet Putin's food has yet to be poisoned. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

Ukrainian and Russian soldiers are fighting on the streets of Bakhmut, but the city hasn't been taken by Russia just yet according to the city's deputy mayor, Oleksandr Marchenko.
He told the BBC that the city is almost destroyed, with not a single building untouched as a result of the conflict.
Russian troops - from Wagner and regular Russian forces - are believed to have the city surrounded, but thousands of its troops are reported to have died during the offensive.

Zelensky administration says Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny supports continued defense of Bakhmut
8:08 am, March 6, 2023
The Zelensky administration has published a press release saying that Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny and the commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrsky agree that Ukraine should continue defending Bakhmut.
According to the announcement, the two senior military officials replied in favor of defending Bakhmut when asked by President Zelensky about their opinions. It says that “they spoke in favor of continuing the defensive operation and of strengthening our positions in Bakhmut.”
The press release does not quote anything that either Zaluzhny or Syrsky said first-hand. The statement was published shortly after the German tabloid Bild suggested that Zelensky and Zaluzhny did not see eye-to-eye with regard to Bakhmut. The publication cited Kyiv insiders who said that, some weeks earlier, Zaluzhny had suggested that the president should consider withdrawing from Bakhmut, for tactical reasons.
Bakhmut has been under Russia’s assault since July 2022. Evgeny Prigozhin’s mercenary Wagner Group is currently conducting a ruthless offensive on the city, without sparing its own troops.
Earlier this month, Prigozhin said that Bakhmut was “practically enveloped” by Wagner formations, and urged the Ukrainian military to leave the city. Some Ukrainian army specialists then left Bakhmut, but the bulk of the Ukrainian grouping continues to defend it, amidst controversy as to whether this is still rational.

Quote:
Former Chief of Staff at the CIA and the Pentagon Jeremy Bash sits down with Andrea Mitchell to react to the latest threats against Washington out of China amid growing concern about Beijing providing lethal weapons to Russia. “Right now in Ukraine, it’s a frozen conflict,” says Bash. “If China gets involved on behalf of Russia, that could materially help Moscow. And the United States is putting maximum pressure on China not to do that.”
