I've been saying that I would be content with Wenyen as our 14th guy. His metrics are actually pretty solid, especially for the vet min. I can see why they have their eyes on Wood/Biyombo though considering our needs. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |

I like Wenyen but he gets bounced off the blocks. He's just not big enough. |

Agree, there could be a role for Weny as a 3rd or 4th option at PF…perhaps some SF as well…on the Lakers but the teams needs are more at backup C. Hayes is 15lbs heavier and 3 inches taller, more of what’s needed. I don’t have high hopes for Hayes, I expect his production to approximate Weny’s from last year inline with what Hayes has been, but the production should be as a C and thus may be more useful to team success than trying to force Weny to contribute playing out of position as a back up C. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. He's definitely frail but the metrics seem to support that he manages to get the job done. Though it could just be the Ham is mostly putting him in positions to succeed. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |
