I don't wade into these discussions of the coaches very often but it seems like Ham had a great game tonight. Like Jodeke said, he was like Popovich tonight

I am the biggest Darvin hater on this forum.

but it seems like he did everything correctly, almost like he is reading the forum. lol

if he can keep this up, I would be so happy.

I am a fan of Ham finally realizing he can play our bigs together instead of letting the other team beat up on small guards and wings masquerading as PFs.

Just like with players consistency is key. What separates the great players from the merely good or role players is consistency. Now that everyone is basically healthy he needs to just be consistent with his rotations and minutes so everyone knows their roles and what is expected. This is what is needed for playoff and championship level basketball.

People haven't realize we are steadily playing less and less iso ball, basically a thing you only saw with teams like Dubs and the Heat. Iso ball has been relegated to Dennis in the 4th quarter foul fishing, and Lebron ball is practically non-existent. Those who says Ham don't know his Xs and Os, just ask Cranjis(Tim). They are commenting the game live and they can not praise the coaches much more.

In the Rui theme, yes he played a superb game specially defensively and people hammering Ham( that sound really funny) with the DNPs before last game Sure but people forgets when the last time we faced Houston without AD, and Ham started RuI, ( which was the correct decision BTW ) and RUI just played super awful, then posters hammering Ham for not starting Gabriel.

The way I see it, Ham has a large cup of patience when dealing with players, besides he is a players coach, he enpower them but it is not 128 oz cup. If you fill that cup, you will see the bench. Yesterday Beasly was on, but the Lakers don't have a huge lead to let Beasley get the game away with getting cold, making silly turnovers and playing bad defense.

Playing awful is no size dependent.

Yeah, I really like the offense now, no one dominates the ball, Dangelo can create, Austin can create, Lebron can create, Jarred and Anthony can make simple plays for others. Phil Jackson would be spoiled with this roster. I am happy for Darvin. He has command over the locker room. And this is a fun team to watch.

I continue to be happy to see Ham finally not defaulting to small and playing guys like Wenyen and Rui.

I'm gonna repeat "Ham is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get."

I'm conflicted. One night he coaches like a vet another like a rookie. I see a coach learning on the fly. I've said in the past Rob should put out feelers for a veteran coach. Then Darvin coaches a game with a high coaching IQ.

I don't know what to conclude. Is he or isn't he I'm gonna throw up both my hands and let the chips fall where they may.

Why not call a foul with a minute to go, after they just made a 5-0 run? They have momentum, we got possession and a chance to execute and put the game away. Instead we let them back in
