He rewarded the 5 best players this series. And D'lo has been trash. But I guess anything to blame Ham.

Nope you are right he is a great coach and should get a lifetime contract. He might be better than Phil Jackson.

Don't be foolish. I advocated for Dennis in the starting lineup.
But he's not a floor spreader. And I actually wanted the coach to run a lineup and play at the end of the game to win the game, not to reward the best players of the series. Get real.

Please have some better plays drawn up for late game situations. We are good in clutch situations but sucks very bad on last possession of the games

Get him a good assistant and allow him to grow into the role. I think he's completely fine generally

Agreed. LW4 if you don't trust DLO would work better.

Just anyone to help spread the floor.
Dennis is not it.
I want him in the game for his defense.
His offense is crap.

But anyway. There's more to harp on in the series than that one play, no matter how moronic it was.

Monty Williams or Doc Rivers as lead assistant. Why not? Vogel had J. Kidd...

FWIW, I still think Murray helps on that drive no matter who he is guarding. I'm sure Malone said, don't let Bron beat us.

Yes, he has been fine. Just the late game situations kind of frustrated me more than anything

I thought he did great for his rookie season. He made some solid adjustments in the Memphis and Golden State series. He had some challenges in the Denver series. Looking forward to year 2 with a full training camp.

Why werenโ€™t they pounding the ball to AD once Jokic got his 5th. Just horrible.

+33 net rtg in 26 min this series.

Mind boggling that it's hasn't seen more minutes.
Only 7 mins in game 1 a freaking +53 net rtg.
Only 8 mins in game 2 at +37 net rtg.
11 mins in game 3 at +17 net rtg.

Thatโ€™s where this series was lost.

He's a good coach. I am confident about saying that. He can still improve, but the most important thing is he got his team to be resilient and put them in positions to win.

We got out-talented by the Nuggets. It happens, we were also clearly just gassed. Ham could've done some things and maybe we win a game or two, but he had a good game plan. Went toe to toe with Kerr who was also phenomenal. Good X's and O's. Despite that last ATO being funky, we were generally really good with ATOs.

I hope he's a little bit more proactive vs. reactive with his rotations but overall I'm satisfied.

Not having a proper blow out was probably unfortunate in this regard. If we had a 20 point lead with 10 min left, it's the kind of scenario where maybe Malone leaves in his starters but we start resting ours. And we can give Max some reps against Murray. I understand why they'd be hesitant about a rookie going up in real minutes. If he goes -9 in 2 minutes, that can lose a game.

I'd give him a solid B for the season.
He has good rapport with the guys on the roster.
He's level headed, doesn't get too high or too low.

Will be interesting to see if he's flexible and can adapt with whatever roster changes we make heading into training camp.
Also want to see how he does in terms of player development. That'll determine alot in terms of his future here.

I thought he did pretty well, considering the circumstances

Next year I would like to see him working on making faster adjustments. It feels like heโ€™s always one or two games late on making needed changes.

The players play the games, not the coach

I thought he did well...

Umm A+..wait a minute..three guard lineup that never works..uumm

Oakay a B....wait...keeping Beaze out there and not even taking him out of the startig lineup until he just saw that its not working with catch and shoot strategy annnd not trying to find plays for him..taking LW4 position for no reason.

Okay how about a C? Wellll he kind of started making timeouts butttt majority of the times its hands in my pockets time and watch leads fall.

Okay how about a D? Ummm no adjustments when he see a player gettting burnt ""DLO Vs Brown" and not telling LBJ he not Curry

Okay F+? Nope because the team always has a horrible 3rd qtr not once but all series..no energy or no plan just win inspite of this coach. 15 point lead ..any leads at the half means nothing when this team comes out in the 3rd...smh.

F-..thats about correct.

Ham isn't a great coach, but he's in a large group of coaches that get about what's expected out of the group. There's a few elite that get more, like Spoelstra and Popovich. The Lakers don't get swept with better decisions from Ham, but I think he made some good choices leading up to this series.

The Lakers would never fire a coach so soon, but I feel like Nick Nurse is potentially in that elite category. The championship run was great, but the year after was really impressive. They were an elite team the year after Kawhi walked in FA.

If the Lakers can get Nurse, I'm up for replacing Ham with him. But, you can always do worse. People had issues all the time with Vogel, but Ham has been a downgrade so far.

Only replace Ham if there's a better coach lined up.
