Ok I don’t like that future 2nd round pick part, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers. |

Adrian Wojnarowski: The Los Angeles Lakers acquired Orlando’s pick at No. 35 for a future second-round pick and cash, sources tell ESPN. The Lakers had been working to move into the draft and now land with an early second-round pick tonight. – via Twitter wojespn |

It's a pretty high second round pick, so most likely a decent upgrade from the future one. |

We have two 2nd rounders in 2028. We traded one of them. |

Dan Woike: Orlando will receive the Lakers’ 2028 second-round pick in the deal, a source said.
https://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/story/2022-06-23/lakers-acquire-second-round-nba-draft-pick-orlando-magic
We still have Washington’s 2nd rounder in 2028.
Recall in 2019 we traded into the 2nd round tagging in Orlando at that time too. We traded 2.2m & a 2020 2nd to draft THT at #46.
We have roughly 4.4m within our trade purse to use towards this trade and that purse gets replenished to about 6m at the start of next season aka June 30th 3:01pm PT. _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

Very high pick to buy/swap. Maybe an NBA ready guy like Christian Braun or EJ Liddell fall to them. |

That's a problem for future Lakers. #35 is pretty good. _________________ .... |

IF we keep the pick there could be some interesting players on the board that
could help out / plug holes; ala Reaves... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

We need regular season back-end rotation players regardless of what happens with RW. As long as they can give us more than Ariza gave us last year it's an immediate improvement over the 4th or 5th Vet Min guy you can pull out of the fa pool. |

3&D guard? They say he’s a good shooter but he shot 32% from 3? _________________ |

Quote: | Max Christie is a 6-foot-6 19-year-old wing out of Michigan St. Didn’t shoot well as a freshman but projects as a 3-and-D wing who can move well off the ball.
He ranked 27th on @Sam_Vecenie’s Big Board and was projected as the No. 31 pick. |

(bleep) pick. Absolute horrible pick.
I’m so freaking mad tonight. This kid shot like crap in college, he’s skinny, and he’s another freaking guard, when this team has 10 thousand of those. AND ZERO WINGS!
We’re gonna not draft a single wing player, in a wing heavy draft. What a crap night man. This kid is gonna see zero playing time. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Edey or Ware (Another guard)
- Sign Jonas or Claxton (NOBODY)
- sign and trade DLO (nobody wants him LMAO!)
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot (JJ: LeBron Bestie/might be a racist)
Call it an offseason (ROFL) |

Doug Christie looks like he has great potential, young, and he has good size.
