Second time this season his end of game situational awareness has cost them. He’s got to get better there.
I'm remembering last year when AR at least twice over-helped on drives at the end of game, giving up an open 3 which cost the Lakers a win. One of them was against the Mavs.
Christie just seems like a relatively unintuitive player and we're gonna have to accept growing pains
Agree totally. I am just trying to be balanced in watching Max’s development.
I don’t blame Max at the end there, I think we all collectively were flabbergasted when JJ put him in that spot to begin with.
How would a coach know if said player would be ready for the moment unless you place him in that pressurized moment?
Also, how will he ever learn? Growth happens through mistakes. I know the Lakers are in a tough spot, because Lebron doesn't have time for Max and DK to learn that way, but that's life.
Growth soes happen through mistakes and you'd rather he make that mistake Game 27 of the season than Game 7 of the Finals. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Honestly, he could've gotten that pass in without calling TO. You just have to throw an angled pass over the top of FVV and Bron so he can turn and pick it up and have momentum going right. It's not like Wemby was fronting Bron, it's not even a particularly difficult pass to make. And he had Tate (6 4) jumping in front of him, again not a particularly tall guy.
I'm not annoyed at the TO because I thought the game was already probably over by then. But I also don't think time awareness was the problem there. A lot of players on this team can't throw basic lobs, which is a problem when both of your best players are post players.
what do you think is his ceiling? Who will you compare?
KCP....
That's a pretty low ceiling, don't you think?
I have not seen anything from his game that I would think more than that. His production is actually very in line with KCP's...
Maybe next season?
I think he can create his own shot if given the chance. Coby White on offense?
You've never watched Coby White play? _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

I mean ceiling. obviously not now.
Nothing alike man . _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
Cody White plays no defense and is one of the worst defensive guards in the entire league, Max and he are nothing alike. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I’m dreaming of Max/DFS starting together with a legitimate PG (offense/defense/playmaking including ball security and the ability to create shots without a screen) plus AD/LBJ. Need a better back up C too! AR/Rui would be stellar coming off the bench to upgrade the second unit.
Can we use Vincent/Vando/Wood/JHS $28m to make that happen using the picks? _________________ When reasonably possible, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a completely committed effort by the GM for the last 2 off seasons nor the last 2 trade deadlines. What is going on?
