I hate Ham so (bleep) much.

He's gonna find a way to screw everything up with his nonsensical rotations, and his extreme fetish for 3/4 guard lineups.

Vincent
DLO
Reaves
Christie
LeBron

Ham is jerking off at the thought of this lineup as we speak.

Relax…Ham will only unleash this lineup against Denver, Milwaukee,Memphis and the Sixers

Oh well thank god for that!

Looking for MaxC to provide defense as the 4th guard.

For this scenario to happen, Max would have to be given some playing time...which hasn't happened so far, to my surprise. To be fair, Cam has shown more focus on defense than he's been given credit on previous teams. But, to completely freeze Max out of the rotation is mystifying to me. Oh well. We'll just have to see how things progress. Really pulling for the young man. He's worked hard.

Not mystifying at all. There just simply not enough minutes to go around with all the guards being fully healthy. Cam probably loses his minutes when Vando gets back.

Christie needs to get some valuable PT this season. In my opinion he could prove to be vital if he develops.

It's between Christie and Reddish right now it seems, and Reddish is getting the minutes currently. And even then Reddish is only getting minutes because Vando is out.

It's really awkward to play more than 10 guys because that means you have to go 3-deep at least one position. MaxC wasn't that impressive during pre-season. He didn't necessarily distance himself even with Cam's injury and Cam matches Vando's physical profile more. Since he didn't play much in the preseason, this time with Vando out is essentially the pre-season audition he didn't get. Vando is expected to be out for 2 weeks so I wouldn't be surprised if Ham plugs in Max for Cam if the latter doesn't impress in the next few games. And although I think they're essentially auditioning for 11th man, there will be plenty of opportunity with injuries and scheduled rest.

With Van out it’s more logical to have expected MaC/Rui to get more minutes. Minutes that Van not only would have poached from MaC at SG, and from Rui at PF, but also SF minutes that MaC/Rui may have possibly received. Minutes directly or indirectly with Cam/LBJ needed more at SF with Van out opening more up opportunity time for MaC at SG (with less Cam at SG since getting more SF minutes with Van out) and time for Rui at PF (with less LBJ at PF since getting SF minutes with Van out).

What you say makes perfect sense but I still can’t figure out MaC playing 1 minute in 2 games and Cam getting more minutes than Rui.

Can’t see what Gabe does that Max can’t do especially when he’s still trying to figure things out offensively, Max might give us more production if he got the opportunity

I just hope he stays focused, as soon as one of the guards get injured he will get his chance.

Kinda wanna see this kid, especially against teams not expected to make the playoffs but if Ham needs to see what Cam can do then ok

Max looked a bit lost in the sauce, he missed a lot of 3s and got absolutely cooked by PG (no shame in that). He's not strong enough to guard PG but I actually really liked how he looked defensively, but it's clear strength is going to be his biggest limiting factor defensively.

Hope the Lakers can get some blowouts soon so Max can get some extended, low-pressure run.

Christie -- -- Some run for Max tonight with the roster depleted for this one. Somehow the stat sheet didn’t give him a steal, but he did swipe a Westbrook kickout and push it down court for FTs. He also buried a three from the corner at the end of the quarter in transition. Good to see him get some action, especially in the heat of the battle. Some weird lineups around him tonight (three bigs at one point), but they worked it out. The Stats: He scored 5 points on 1-7 shooting (1-5 from three, 2-2 from the line) to go with 3 boards and 3 fouls in 22 minutes. He was a +0.

Couldn’t hit a shot, but did a good job disrupting things on defense. Still too small to guard a guy like PG or Kawhi though.

Crazy stat. I'm still a believer. He's not gonna be a viable PG or Kawhi defender but I still have hopium he can guard Murray credibly while hitting open 3s

Either his shots still tight or he is not quite ready but I wouldn’t be too surprised if he makes Vincent looks expendable these next 2 weeks

You never want to see guys get hurt, but with a roster that has so many rotation options, getting windows where you are missing some guys can help the coaching staff figure things out without as much interpersonal challenges.

The shots will start falling. What's important is how he's able to get to his spots for clean looks.

His time to shine over the next 2-3 weeks with injuries to Gabe and JHS.
