i would take Bradley….he’s long, young and he’s been playing. Also roles hard on PNR’s. Not pick n pop. It’s only a temp move….but you have to assume that both Bron and Bamba will be out at least 5 more games. We have to win 4 of those games IMO. Have to give ourselves the best chance to keep us a float.

Tristan is the same height as Wenyen at 6’9, except he’s 45 lbs bigger.

If we don’t get some help at the 5, that suns game coming up can get especially ugly.

Would be nice if day to Davis got back on track too.

Bradley is soft. He let Steven Adams pick him up, and carry him away from Ja.

If only today's version of AR showed up in that Houston game. Amirite?

So what is Reaves' max again?

Way he's playing, some team may give him a lot more than we initially thought.

Steven Adam is probably the strongest player in the league, no cap.

I liked Tony at UNC — he wasn’t the star — he just does a lot of nice things you want out of a big. He can block shots. He can rebound in traffic. He has an outside shot to pick and pop. He is sort of like the Troy Brown Jr of bigs, you can use him anyway you want. He just turned 25 in January. He fits with our young guys.

Btw is there some #LakerWhiteBoyQuota that we all don’t know about? You can only have 1 rostered at any given time.

Eh. He'll be back next year. I doubt we'll see a poison pill scenario. I think the question is whether his new contract will 2+1 or 3+1.

Another reason why you don't want to be a hard-capped team. People were really expecting AR back (early this season) in the $5-7m range. Now we are looking at $11-12m at the minimum, likely more now.

Lakers ARE working out TT/Bradley? This should have been done/completed a minimum of a week ago.

first year is 12 mil max, that's all we know at this point. poison pill or not, the first 2 years would be around that number. . Lakers would be stupid not to do it. they should just offer him the 4 year 50 mil before other teams even has a chance to offer him the poison pill contract.

I hope you’re right.

Cause if there’s a white guy with a name starting with “A” in this year’s draft, ends up going undrafted and the #LWBQ is 1, Austin gone…#Austout 😜

Btw, @AH, you really gonna bring up contract years again homie? You know that triggers me.

Also, NBA looks to still be targeting that 75B cable projection.

Quote:
“Not because a lot of people don’t buy cable anymore,” Ballmer tells Forbes. “That’s one reason. But we can do a different and better set of experiences.” ClipperVision, the team’s direct-to-consumer product, for instance, allows fans to stream games anywhere without a cable subscription. Still, according to NBA sources, the Clippers haven’t taken a financial loss on ClipperVision only because the club pays for production costs. Industry sources have put a target price tag of $75 billion on the NBA’s next multiyear media deal, slated to begin after the 2024 season. Doable? Ballmer will only say that a year from now, after a new agreement is reached, “we’re going to be in much better shape financially.” – via Jabari Young @ Forbes.com

So true. I honestly believe they FO thought they would win both the Houston and Dallas game. Unreal.

The way the team was shooting FTs that game, he would have missed one too. Haha. I'm still confident in the team.

Well, agree this shoulda been done when Bamba was diagnosed out for long period of time! Rob, your fault!

I know T.T. has been a very good role player, tough, very good rebounder & decent defender. I don’t remember hearing anything good about T.B.

So obvious choice for me would be the tough, rebounding vet Thompson, I think this is a no brainer, he’s only 32 & 1 inch shorter than T.B. but his experience is what we need!

I remember him always giving us trouble on the glass & defensive effort.

He's pretty much done, plus he has a Kardashian connection. If we're leaning on him for anything, it's a bad sign.

yeah, but i would much rather see AR got the ball to create something than seeing Dlo chucking up shots while he was ice cold.
