I missed DLo; any recap of what he said about Ham? |
Nothing directly, just things like referencing they were just free balling at times last year and he's excited for JJ and the offense he's going to implement, stuff like that. |

I disagree. When an incompetent buffoon doesn't play the right players when they should be played and costs you games....yeah I'm okay with calling him out. Even more so if the team is better. |
And so far lacking discretion has cost DLO million of dollars. He will be lucky if his next contract is more than the MLE. It isn’t a question of if bad mouthing a superiors will come back to bite you, it’s a question of when. |
He's made millions bro. He doesn't care otherwise he would keep his mouth shut. He's fine financially and it's more important to him to be used correctly instead of being thrown under the bus by a fat, incompetent loser coach. |

I get it both ways. It’s him in a nutshell. He knows his play won’t get him a raise or make a team want him partially because of his mouth and it’s why he’s soured everywhere. That said I get it because his coach killed him in the press along with Reaves. So they will all fire shots at Ham |

I can't think of a more hilariously naive thing to assume about any NBA player. |

Especially when D'lo was boasting about the leverage he thought he had. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Really??? He's made $60 million. The guy cares much more about how he's viewed and how he's allowed to play the game at this point. He was never a max player or even a $25 million player. He is what he's paid to be so he voices his opinion and that's not a bad thing especially in regards to a worthless coach who throws him under the bus when it's obvious Ham was the problem. Is he immature? Sure. I'm not a huge DLO fan....but I know for a fact as does 99% of the people here that Ham is worthless and should've never been an NBA coach. |

Rarely do I see a player complaining about the headcoach for not utilizing him properly.
DLo sucked under many different headcoaches with many different teams. That is a fact we could look at. He's a journeyman for a reason. As I've said before, the Lakers looked good with him because Bron and AD was healthy and you're comparing against Westbrick Lakers.
Compare DLo's Lakers against KCP's Lakers in 2020 when both teams had Bron and AD healthy and playing at a high level. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |

No doubt he’s on a short leash this year. the Lakers are gonna see how he does when the season starts so the microscope is gonna be large. He knows if he messes up he’s gonna get traded very quickly, he would be with the Warriors had the Warriors valued him when we were chasing Klay, he knows he’s out of here if he does any thing stupid |

Still would have been a possible 3 team scenario with Klay going to Dallas and the Lakers getting Wiggins and Looney |

I really hope DLo has another great upcoming season, similar to last season. Followed by a good post season. Some people are on his head, for any little thing, no matter how trivial. It's ridiculous. But, it is what it is. He, and Reaves, are gonna have to prove themselves through their respective play, to kill all the b.s.. A better DLo/Reaves, means a better Lakers. Hope to see it. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I am counting on both DLO (not a fan boy) and AR to have improved seasons this year. I think JJ actually can run an offense and play these guys in positions to have success. Supposedly AR is trying to get stronger which will serve him well. He played every game last year and was run down at the end of the season. |

What "I read" is JJ asking everyone to shoot more 3's. I hope he has a plan beyond that. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

It’s true that we need to shoot more of them, but we don’t have great shooters on the team. Shooting more 3s is a logical next step, but a lot of those extra 3s might be coming from AD, Max, Cam, Vando and Gabe. This could be particularly sobering when we inevitably trade the team’s best shooter. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I believe JJ is going to run a motion offense where they get open looks. You don't have to be a great shooter to hit and open look, just a good shooter. DLO, AR, Gabe, Max, Dalton, Bron, Rui are the ones I expect to take those shots consistently. AD was asked to take more 3's but I think he won't overshoot them. Vando believe it or not was hitting his share of 3's from the corner before he got injured. We'll see if he has a green light to shoot them. I don't think Cam will play much so I wouldn't worry about him. |

It may be that JJ's rotation filter may start with those who shoot the three better. Historically the best top level filter on a LeBron team was defense, but we don't really have great tradeoff options on this roster and the coach has made it clear he wants more threes.
I think we could see a bigger role for Dalton than most expect, especially if Vando isn't ready to go. |

More offense. How 'bout defense? We won our championship by having the number one ranked defense. Not by having the number one ranked offense. I'd love to hear JJ talk about defensive philosophy. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |
