He’s implemented schemes? You’re aware that all coaches do this including Ham? Ham’s downfall of course was that he was never coached by Brian Hill. This preseason hype lord have mercy. _________________ 14-5-3-12

I’m not really going to be shocked at him looking like an end of the rotation bench guy who can play some spot minutes (5-10) as a POA defender who can’t shoot or dribble the ball more than twice without losing it. |

Or you can see him as the guy who played solid basketball on both ends from Nov/Dec before he went down and wasn’t able to help us after that. I think he has a better chance at helping us then what most people think |

or you can view him as a guy who couldn't get off the bench for a defensive coach in thibs and no other team wanted and yet Rob, per usual signed him leaving us to rely on him to be someone he has never been in the NBA. _________________ Its out there. |

Preseason hype??? I just think JJ is going to be more successful than Ham. If that's preseason hype I'm sorry for the confusion. |

Reddish is probably on that trade train, as well, though I doubt he has much league value. |
Everyone is essentially on the trade house, and if the team isn’t playing well you will also hear noise of AD or LeBron getting traded as well |
After how they played in the Olympics, that’s really far fetched. I mean, any clueless poster can say anything though. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

Clueless isn’t the right word to use, we need everyone to play well for us to have a chance so if that doesn’t happen everyone should be held accountable |

These are Robinson’s games played for his career and he’s going to miss half of this season at least if not more. He’d cost multiple rotation players. He looks fat and out of shape. I’d love to chase a center but that’s too risky. |
If the cost is Gabe Vincent+/Lewis/Cam, I still do it. Get the big and open up roster spots for a guy like Fultz or whoever might get cut going into the season. |
This kind of framework would have been much more attractive at the start of the summer when these roster spots could have been put to good use. |
True. But still solid players out there that can provide quality depth. Covington and Dennis Smith or Fultz in particular.
If Christie hit's like everyone expects, there will not be many G minutes left off bench for Vincent also. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' What’s more representative of Reddish as a player: the brief stretches of decent basketball he shows once in a while every so often, or the other 99% of his career after high school where he has been awful at it (relative to others in his peer group, of course)? If Cam happens to somehow break out, great! It’s fun to think about. But it’s like buying a lottery ticket, you do so because idly day dreaming about winning is a nice way to pass some time, but anyone actually planning their finances around winning said lottery is not making a smart decision. |

The fact that he has had brief stretches of nice play speaks on what he can be, he stepped up in the ECFs as a young pup, he played solid basketball for us before he went down with his injury, he is just 25 years old, still a kid in the NBA… let’s see what he can do with a healthy season, he’s been working on his legs to prevent freak injuries |

From the title team Kidd, Rondo, Dudley, and Vogel are either coaching or advising other teams. Shame we didn’t hang on to any of these guys. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Would u go all in with AR and unprotected 2 firsts (with salaries) for jimmy B??? (I’d rather an under 30 star) _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

No, if we spend the picks it has to be for someone that can contribute to the next window. Butler might retire before LeBron at this rate. |

no way. eventually we will learn that building internally a solid core of guys we drafted/developed is how you get to next level. Every contender has a good mix of developed guys + a vet or 2. At this point, like the Cowboys we arent serious about legitimately contending. _________________ Its out there. |
