Lonnie Walker on the Celtics? Rich get richer. Perfect for the 5-out scheme they run. He'll be the most open he's ever been in his entire career and can easily average 12-14 points off the bench.
Lol
People forget what a scrub this guy was for us because of his Game 4 performance against the Warriors in 2023, after being benched for almost the entire playoffs up until that point. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Let’s relax with the Lonnie criticism he has his flaws but he can definitely help a lot of teams who are aiming to make the playoffs, but going to Boston on a team that has like 9-10 players who get PT, it made no sense for him to go there, I think he’s gonna get bought up by Boston and then he will look to sign with a team like the Rockets or Pistons who are more in need of a experienced scorer

Not sure what Stanning means, but Trae is gonna stay in Atlanta, he’s a Jersey seller and gives fans a lot of excitement with his offense, I think what Atlanta is gonna do is try trading for someone like Ingram to pair with Trae

It’s a term from an IU song. It means to be an intense fan of someone to the point where it borders on worship.

Oh ffs this is next level cringey. It's from Eminem song Stan.
Or you might be trolling in which case well done. _________________ KOBE

What do you like about Trae and what do you feel he will bring to the Lakers?
Ridiculous handle, gets into the paint and to the FT line at will. Devastating floater. Great court vision and willing passer. We don't have anyone with those skills. Takes 40 year old LBJ off the ball, must be guarded beyond the arc. 40 point threat every night.
Yes, he has defensive liabilities, but no more so than our current turnstiles. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
I don't think Trae is a 40 point a night threat next to Lebron/AD. He's more an occasional 40 point, more in the 23-25 point threat.
His value to me is less with Lebron, more post-Lebron. I don't think the Lakers would go all in for Trae knowing it will kill depth, future trade assets and you're left with Trae/AD post-Lebron, which is good enough to be a play in team/but not a contender.
I believe they'll look to secure their assets for a name that can fill in for Lebron. Already we heard about Doncic. Think along the lines of MVPs. That's probably who we'll target. Unrealistic as it may be. That's just how they operate. They'll look to go all in for a player that has that MVP level value. There are very few players out there like that, but that's probably who they're focusing on with these type of all in moves.

Odds are he’s staying in Atlanta, they need a cash cow and someone who brings entertainment, there gonna try building around him again
Ppl don't realize how much he makes that team and city. Hawks had no fans for decades. You couldn't get people to show up to their playoff games that year when they had 4 all stars. Even if he isn't nationally popular or liked, he's massive in ATL and has that arena humming at full capacity every night. You aren't getting him for late lottery picks and some mid tier prospects.

That Hawks team has to be the worst #1 seed, 60 win team, or team with four all stars of all time. How were Jeff Teague or Kyle Korver all stars? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

To Doc’s point there will likely be a fair number of non-Lebron and/or non-AD games. Having someone like Trae would neutralize that, no one currently on the roster can do it. Of course, it all would come down to the price. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
BREAKING: The Lakers are in serious discussions with Cedi Osman’s agent on a deal that would land Osman in LA, sources tell me and @BR_NBA
Cedi is a close personal friend of LeBron James.
This is from SixthmanJake from Twitter take it with a grain of salt, it was reported today that Real Madrid is in advanced talks to sign Osman, could a chance to reunite with LeBron change those plans?
