No way you justify this. He could have seriously injured Ayton. There’s a difference between standing up for your teammate and taking a cheap shot. |

Ayton 7 feet tall standing over reaves and then flies when Bev hits him.
Yeah Ayton could’ve hurt himself flopping into the camera man. |

It’s just a (bleep) ass look. If he wants to push him fine, but running full speed into a guys back is not a display of toughness. Kief last year is a prime example of what can happen to a guy when he’s not looking. |

You know what would be a good way of standing up for the team?
Not constantly play 27-30 minutes a game throwing up donuts like tonight. All Beverly has ever been good at is barking at players. He doesn’t do anything useful anymore on either end of the court.
I would feel better about him “standing up” for somebody if he wasn’t such a detriment to the team on the court.

I’m lovin’ me some Pat Bev right now…I don’t care about the numbers, that’s what Bron and AD are there for (and AD is absolutely doing one hell of a job)
The way Beverley stuck up for Reaves after he was hit with two absurd cheap shots in the same sequence shows that this team is starting to come together. The spirit is there. Yeah he’s gonna get suspended, but that’s ok. The team has been playing better and if Davis keeps rolling and Bron gets back soon, and Pat Bev keeps taking no ish, they might be onto something. Here’s hoping |

It is a luxury to have a teammate that will attack an opponent that is disrespectful...guilty pleasure from me on that...but what is needed is production on the court which Pat doesn't provide.
I would like to see him and Nunn traded with a FRP for Turner.

| There's really nothing wrong with what he did. This is why I call this the moist era, because back in the day he probably would have gotten a regular foul and continued to play. I will never compare today's players to those of the 80's. Whoever the leader of this team is should pay whatever fine he gets, pat him on his back and say "Good job". You have to send a message to other players that if you mess with my teammate there will be repercussions. Bravo! |

I blame the refs for allowing Ayton to stand over Reaves like that. Any other time they're blowing their whistles for merely batting your eye at the other team.
Westbrook got a T for staring as we walked by last game. Yet Ayton can literally stand over Reaves staring?? |

If you dare stand on top of my team8 to humiliate them I will push you to the ground. Because if you don't then people around the league will try to punk you all the time and as a leader of the team you have to protect your youngins who don't have the experience to stand up for them selves.
The message is clear, don't try because you will pay for it.
We play clean but keep it clean.
With that being said, Ham is hurting us by playing him.
We have continuesly started games poorly offensively and the 3rd Q thats because of our starting line up. You can't have Brown + Beverly out there and expect to be competitive on offense. |
