My feel is let's just run with these dudes including Westbrook, see what we have in this new Ham system with Nunn and the stars seemingly healthy, and then just make the decisions from there. Yes, we know what Russ is within Vogel's framework, and we pretty much know what he lacks to 90% level. Let's hammer out that last 10% and let's see if he's marginally or more better with the two stars healthy, and a new coaching system, and tries harder. If it all fails again over the first 8-12 games, we might as well find out sooner than later, be realistic about it, and base trade or other decisions on that knowledge rather than assumption. And if Lebron or AD go down with injury or are off bc of injury, then that's useful info. And if we are healthy and we can't even compete with our brutal early schedule opponents, then that's informative too. Information-gathering, even if to confirm what we already think we learned from last year. But I do want to see all three guys healthy for 20 games to be sure that we are not actually contenders somehow. |

Coach has not coached one minute of one game yet. We don't know what he's going to do. Russ might miss one defensive assignment and find himself on that bench. Let's all calm down until we see what's happening. |

Sheesh. I understand the benefit of adding guys to the list (they’re an Ironman if they play well and they have an excuse if they struggle) but it totally loses meaning when they do it this often. |

True statement... let me rephrase.
I don't think Ham will bench Westbrook unless the whole thing turns into a dumpster fire. I don't see it happening. I think a trade is more likely than Westbrook being benched. This is only my opinion though. |

Lol AD already with an injury before a damn game even started.
I'm almost done with him. Trade his ass before his value is destroyed. I've never seen a talent of his caliber get hurt from the smallest of things.

I get this part but why is AD even whining to his trainer about it?
If he doesn't feel good, he should just not play or play for ten minutes and quit... no one would really think much of it at a preseason game.
If he can't even do that, then his 82 game claim was bullsh*t |
