Interesting words by Kobe and Draymond quoted in this article at https://global.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/43860581/no-substance that highlights the current status of the NBA

With today’s NBA focused on how physically talented they are, as opposed to how great a “Basketball Player” they are, in addition to the great influx of young players learning the game because they only spent one year in college, has the NBA playing very simple games where a 2/3 on one fastbreak usually ends up in a 3pt shot with misses resulting in a long rebound that ends up being another 3pt shot where misses results in yet another long rebound, etc.

These “24 Hour Fitness” games often look like the awful NBa Alk Star Games where both teams scored more than 200 points.

Current NBA is basically a 3 point horse shooting contest. Not sure if there is an easy fix. Moreyball is basically ruining the current NBA game.

When a team like the Lakers to Nuggets to OKC to other teams that incorporates ball movement/passing and elite perimeter (all the way to the 3pt line and beyond) defense that wins in the NBA Finals.

Cs have embraced 3pt shooting like the Dubs, who actually get Curry his open shots through ball movement. When the Cs faces teams with excellent perimeter shooting and Porzingus doesn't come to the post, they are in trouble.

Would a Heat team with LBJ, Wade, Bosh, Allen and others defeat the Cs - Yes (IMHO).
