Pacers shut down all their key players including Myles Turner, Haliburton, Buddy Heild. Hornets did the same but still won 2 games against Mavs

Can’t make this (bleep) up. He will sit out tonight and LGSRS for Wednesday.

Playing the Lakers cures all ailments and shooting slumps.

Luka is Lebron without the strength and athleticism…

Yeah, but I think Luka has a better outside shot and range than Lebron at the same age. I'd take Luka with the shot clock winding down in the clutch over Lebron. Assuming all else is the same (Teammates).

Overall the athleticism and strength tilts it to Lebron for sure, but if I had one possession and the ball to run through a player, I'd probably trust Luka more to make and create the shot there than Lebron for some reason.

I don't understand how Luka isn't a 40% 3-point shooter yet. He's so good at hitting 3s with the shot clock running down, and he's so skilled overall that he should be one of the best 3-point shooters (and free throw shooters too) in the game.

To me he's more Larry Bird than LeBron. Luka plays the game at a really slow pace, unlike LeBron who, even at age 38, needs to on a fast-breaking team.

LeBron, with half court weapons, has always played one of the slowest offenses. He'd slow the pace down even more in the playoffs.
The annoying thing about sports and politics is someone or something can go a certain way for 20 years, and yet the consensus can somehow be the exact opposite.

2009: 25th
25th
20th
16th
23rd
27th
25th
28th
2017: 16th
2020: 11th
2021: 21st

Only in LA with more defensive oriented, less offensively talented teams, has he pushed the pace. The pace of the last two seasons is about Russ.

At the same time, the pace across the NBA has only gotten fast the last five years or so. When LeBron came to the Lakers, he became more of a full-time PG rather than a point forward who cautiously brought the ball up the sideline. Here he's been pushing the ball down the middle of the floor whenever the other team's defense hasn't been fully set.

Gonna be annoying when he plays against us next game. Do teams really just save their best efforts for us or what? It’s comical how opponents seemed to have lakers games marked on their calendars

Real test for Pels is tomorrow. The way this game is going, they might rest BI in the 4th.

I don't think will be getting anymore help from top 3-4 teams. Most of them are either resting players or not playing with any urgency anymore.

We got our work cut out for us. If we want to make the 7th and 8th seed, I think we need to finish 5-2 or better to have 2 chances to make the playoffs.

4-3 or 3-4 will keep us at the 9th or 10th spot, we need to win 2 games just to get in.

What's happening to the Jazz was always going to happen. I kept telling everyone they had a monster difficult schedule, you can pretty much count them out of the playin race now. It's an 11 team race for 10 spots, we should be fine, but ideally we want that 7-8 spot

After this game the Pels have the Warriors, the Nuggets, the Clippers, the Kings, the Grizzlies, the Knicks, and the Wolves. If they make the playin they would have earned it for sure

You're welcome Flippers, fatigued Bulls for them. Coby White can't make squat tonight after being Curry yesterday.

They need Zion for most of those. Not enough offensive firepower. Just double/triple BI and gamble on their shooters missing.

don't just look at the opponents. Nuggets, Grizz and Kings have seedings almost locked. what makes you think they will not rest their starters?

On the other hand, the easiest schedule we talk about the lLkers have, most of the teams fighting for play-in or play offs.

so this notion of easy/hard schedule based on the opponents win% is not a good baseline right now.

Minny will be 6/7th seed. They are playing well. Beating the kings without KAT. Our game this Friday is looking more and more like a loss

Gordon is okay, Batum usually has empty stats, the Lakers just layed a brain fart on a Sunday afternoon game with Beverly and Chicago looking to play all out against the Lakers
