Ed Malloy

^this ref and his fight mug from yesterdays game was basically anti-Lakers. Watching yesterdays replay, like 75% of all his calls were against the Lakers.

He was the one that also overturned 2 coach’s challenges too against LA, he gave LeBron the foul instead of Bev for Dame tripping, then he was the one who overturned Nurkic’s foul on Bev in that final 18 seconds that would’ve given the Lakers possession up by 1.

Overturning the foul against Nurkic was the right thing to do, Beverly took a dive.

Morant and Bane each with 38 for total 76 points in the win vs Nets. Durant and Irving with 74 combined. Wow, what a game.

Another genius move by Rob. Offered him starter role and 84 million for 4 years.
1 year after that, he is a min player

Jeez, we sure could use Josh Hart this season.

One tragedy after another.

I still wonder if we would have taken Simons instead of Michigan Mo if Portland had passed on him.

Aside from their top two players, Portland probably has 5 guys who would be out third best player.

You're not wrong. Also can't say I'm not happy for Dame that his team's doing well, he's the one guy in the league I legitimately don't mind seeing win it all as a bball fan

I wonder how many folks actually knew about Bane during that draft.

Lakers only lost by 2 to the blazers in the front end of a back to back. I guess the Lakers gonna beat the Nuggets by 23

Blazers may not have "talent" per se, but they have some decent pieces next to Lillard. Shaedon Sharpe is no longer looking like a mystery and could develop as quickly as Anfernee Simons. I don't expect them to make a deep playoff run, but they will be competitive until teams figure them out. Easy to see why Hart was the centerpiece in the McCollum trade. He doesn't care about stats, but can easily average 20 ppg (see last season). Does the dirty work, hustles his ass off and makes the winning play most of the time. He's looking like the best rebounding guard in the league, at the moment. Hard to believe he was one pick away from slipping to the 2nd round. Lakers definitely knew talent, and they would be in good shape if they kept at least two of their draft picks. Kuz and Hart would be really good right now. Hell, Mo Wagner would be good for them right now, too.

Portland being 4-0 makes me feel even worse about that collapse. The LeBron/AD two man game was so locked in... thanks Ham

Will Chuck start calling him Zi-on "the bench" Williams?
Poor guy always hurt.
Get well.
But hope Pels lose.

When its other teams' players it's always "very unfortunate, get well soon, etc" from Chuck.

Grant was a huge addition for them.

I think no, Pelinka values the scouting abilities of his role players too much it seems

Hard to say.
At the time, I thought Mo was more NBA ready (at least physically) than Simons. And Mo had that Michigan connection unfortunately.

The Clippers say Kawhi Leonard (right knee management) is out tonight against Oklahoma City.

Sounds right.
