I don't like Pat Bev starting at the guard spot. But, with Reaves still out, and the Lakers most likely shopping Pat Bev, I'm beginning to think that all these minutes for him is showcasing him to potential trade partners.
Just me trying to see it from a logical standpoint.

| Why do the coach's not start their best players even if they have to play limited minutes? Just take them out sooner and manage the minutes better.. its not that hard, makes no sense to me. |

The explanation he gave before the San Antonio game was that since A.D. is on a minute restriction and they need to bring him along judiciously so you know nothing goes awry in his return to form. Therefore they want to spare him at the beginning of games so he's available to end games. |

Just take him out faster and make the stints shorter and get to the same minutes in the end. Its more important to start off well so we dont go down by 20. It feels like a lazy excuse. |
