16-10 would put us at .500 and the projected 10th seed with the current standings. Warriors are 9th at 1 game above .500.

I wish I could say better than 14-12, but they haven’t shown that capability…and I’m not talking role players either…

We are barely going to be .500 at best. Last night was a perfect example why. We are desperate for every win possible but our leader LBJ takes a rest day. LBJ will easily sit out at least 5 games before EOY.

Hard to predict. They can gel together and win 17-18 games assuming everyone is healthy. Or AD can continue to limp his away to the end of the season, LeBron can take multiple load management games now that he got his record, Ham can continue to be stupid, new players can take a long time to adjust. Based on all of these things, they can easily miss the playins and have a losing record over the next 26 games.

9 really tough games IMO: @MEM, @DAL, MEM, PHX, @MIN, LAC, PHX, GSW (at least one with Steph back), @NO (with Zion back)

4 less tough home games: DAL, MIN, NYK, NO (Zion probably not back yet)

3 less tough road games: @PDX, @GSW (no Steph), @OKC

10 easier games: GSW (no Steph), TOR, @HOU x2, ORL, OKC, CHI, @CHI, @UTA, UTA

I'm thinking wins in 4-5 of the toughest games, 3 of the tough home games, 2 of the tough road games, and hopefully 8-9 of the easier ones. That's 17-19, enough for 42-44 wins. Hopefully that gets you a #8 but more likely a #9 in my opinion which will ultimately be the difference between making and not making the playoffs.

Same...7-3 then 7-3 again then 4-2 = 18-8. Catch and pass OKC/Utah/Portland/Minny/NOP = 8th place then win 1st pay-in game for 7th seed.

LeGM got his record. He will load mgt his azz off going forward to extend career, worry about his stats and longevity so he can play a year or two with his son (who is no where near a NBA player but someone will give him a contract to get LBJ for his farewell tour). LeGM knows this team can’t compete for a title so he will rest numerous games going forward now that he got record.

I know many people on this board worship LBJ because he brought a title. But there is no denying who he is at this point in his career. I mean he doesn’t even try to hide it anymore.

Was pretty positive after the trade deadline. Even though it's only been 2 games with our new guys, it does seem the playoffs and play in are slipping by us. Especially with Bron hurt and AD playing like a shell of himself after the injury.

I am still excited for the next season though!

yeah, these last NO, OKC and yesterday Blazers losses are daggers... slim chance but I still hanging on hope for the play in, OKC, NO and Utah hopefully start dropping soon and we'll get the last spot

Yea losing these important games just makes it feel like this year just isn't ours. Still holding onto a sliver of hope though
